    I have used Danetre for many years and think it’s a great practice. Never had a problem getting an appointment, doctors and nurses are all wonderful and work under incredible pressure and expectations of the NHS/government. I alway find that if you treat people with kindness and respect you get the same back. I have never had an issue with any member of staff there. I smile at them they smile back. I speak nicely to them they speak nicely back. I always recommend Danetre if anyone is asking for a practice.

    The practice now uses Anima, which is an online booking/triage system. It's very long winded and complicated. I agree the old system of phoning at 8am and trying to get an appointment didn't work, but this is just the same. You still have to do it at 8am otherwise all the 'appointment requests' are closed!

    Thank you for your feedback. Under the terms of our GP Contract with NHS England, we are now required to offer both an online consultation service, and from 1st April 2023 to offer all patients an assessment of need on first contact, which means we are not able to ask patient to call back at another time. Primary Care is under ever-increasing pressure to deliver services, so to enable us to fulfil these requirements; we have introduced the Anima system. Whilst there are limits set for new online appointment requests these are calculated based on the number of routine appointments available each day. Once the online limit has been reached we are still able to take new requests via the telephone for anything that you feel needs to be submitted that day. Please note we are undertaking regular reviews of the Anima system, so feedback is very important to us, and will help with any improvements to the system.     Took my daughter over an hour to get through, and receptionist spoke to her like she was wasting her time. Tried the new system, can only book covid jab or bloods, disgusting service !!!!

    I am very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience when trying to contact the Practice by telephone. If you are able to contact the Practice directly and give details on the call made we will be able to listen back to this and we can address this with the staff member if needed. With regards to the new system we have recently launched Anima as a way to triage all requests for GP or Advanced Practitioner appointments to try to ensure that all patients are booked in to the correct level of care for their needs. Our previous online services are still available for all the usual Treatment Room appointments including blood tests, cervical screening and NHS health checks. If you are struggling to use the new Anima system please contact us directly and we will be happy to submit this over the telephone or help with advice on getting registered for the new system. In the meantime please allow me to apologise for any negative experience you have had whilst contacting the Practice.     I was invited to have a covid vaccine through a text message because I am high risk, I booked a appointment 2 weeks before appointment, when arriving for appointment was told that I'm not eligible, very disappointed. Why did I get message in first place and be able to book appointment, feeling very annoyed.

    I am very sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience with the Practice when attending for your COVID vaccination. If you are able to contact the Practice directly with your details we will be able to fully investigate why this invitation was sent and why the vaccination was not done. In the meantime I can only apologise that this message was either sent in error or there was confusion about your eligibility when you attended for this vaccine. We strive to offer the best possible service for our patients and I am sorry that we have fallen short on this occasion.
