I requested an urgent appointment, which I got the same day. The locum doctor I saw listened attentively, explained her diagnosis well, was thorough in her consultation , prescribed as needed. 10-10 excellent service.

Dear Mrs Mitchell Whilst we realise, especially with the aftermath of Covid, that there are never enough appointments to go 'round - we're very pleased to hear you had a good experience with one of our locum Doctors. We have a new female Dr joining our team, Dr Callow, in November, to replace Dr Beales who has moved on to a new post, so whilst there will always be a need to employ locums now and again to help fill gaps in service, this need should now be reduced which will improve continuity of care. Over the past 2 years I've had to be in touch with the practice over several health issues. The service I have received has been incredible. Phone backs when promised, good explanations of issues, helpful with drugs needed and face to face visits when necessary. There has been a lot of bad press about surgeries over the past few months, but this practice has shown exemption care. Thank you

We endeavour to do our best for patients with the resources available, which are sadly never enough to meet demand. I would like to say Thank you to the GP I saw at the practise today, I had bloods taken in the morning and she phoned me in the evening to explain the result, I had not seen this GP at the practise before, I found her to be extremely helpful, greeting me at the door, listening to what I had to say and proactive throughout the appointment, what a difference it all makes, definitely make sure I see her next time I need to visit surgery.

Dear Ms Coventry We really appreciate it when people take time out of their busy lives to give praise. We will ensure this Dr is aware of this feedback, which helps justify the sometimes very long (12Hr +) days required to deliver a high quality service. The NHS requires more investment in staffing (in primary care in particular), if we are to maintain standards despite ever-increasing demand, even without the ongoing Covid-related issues and backlog.
