  1. Review titled Worse practice in slough

Rated 1 star out of 5

Receptionists are so rude, they have the worse attitude and they are so dismissive. I called due to a concern relating my daughter, the receptionist stated that my concern is not urgent and I do not need a doctors appointment or phone call. Whilst in the middle of asking her a question she then hangs up the phone on me. I am extremely disappointed that this behaviour from these receptionists has been an ongoing situation, this is not the first time that these receptionists are treating me like this each time I call them on any concerns or health issues. They have no professionalism and they seriously need to work on the way they speak to patients. This surgery has no place to stay open because clearly receptionists are the once running this place and they purposely try and be unhelpful each time there is any sort of concern or when you want to speak to a doctor.

  2. Review titled practice !!!!!!!

The trouble with 'Crosby House Surgery 'it is run by the receptionist for the receptionist ,patients don't matter . I was contacted for a blood test to be done ,asked why it was late (as I should have them every 3 months )told in no uncertain terms if I didn't have the blood test ,the doctor will refuse any more perscription until I agree to have one ,that wasn't the problem of not agreeing just asked why is it 6 weeks late in contacting me for the test being having blood test on a regular basis for 35 years due to my condition . Just for the record been a patient for 70 years (and as a family over 8o years ) use to be a good practice prior to the covid ,the receptionist then were very good easy to book appointments over the phone or in person , now not so sure seems they have more patients than they can handle ,patients are farmed of to other practices then being seen at Crosby House due to the TRIAGE SET UP

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with our service. Unfortunately, we can not always accommodate all of our patients who require appointments in the surgery. This is why we have overflow services to accommodate those that we can't see here. We apologise if this is not meeting your expectations. Due to high demands on the service, we look at ways to ensure everyone gets seen that needs to be seen, but it will not always be at the surgery. Many Thanks, Debbie Penrose Practice Manager

  4. Review titled Rude staff

    by marspr86 - Posted on 16 December 2022

Crosby house surgery. It took 3 months to get critical medicine that was on repeat. You can’t even make this stuff up. The receptionists are quick to try and triage you and send you off to other services when they are not medically trained but when you ask them a practical question about their surgery they don’t know the answer and say they are just the receptionist. I found the staff rude and the doctors incompetent - not sure what more I can say.

  7. Review titled Bad service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had no medication as I forgot to order repeat for the first time, one of the conditions of my Illness is memory fog. I have been spoken to very rudely by more than one receptionist trying to get my daily medication which I have already missed one day. Told call back later. Still sitting in DR tray waiting to be done . Now I have to get emergency medication from chemist for the weekend. This surgery has gone down hill and sorry Covid is not a good excuse for bad manners rudeness and lack of care. I have been at this surgery longer than any of the staff and Drs. Trying to get through to them on the phone is a joke and then you get cut off after waiting in a very long queue

  8. Review titled Phone line gets cut off

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 26 May 2022

Tried calling the surgery 2 weeks ago to book an appointment, and was 16 in the queue. I waited around 45 minutes at least (!). When I was number 1 in the queue (finally) and the phone line starts ringing and you hear someone goes to answer, before they speak the phone line got cut off, whether this was intentional or not, I'm not sure. Rang immediately back and was pushed back to number 15 again...another 40 minutes waiting until your receptionist picked up. Again today, and although was only 5 in the queue, was cut off again as it reached number 1 just as someone goes to answer from the surgery. This is so frustrating and time wasting! Please can you resolve whatever might be causing this!
