  2. Review titled Such fantastic staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My partner and I have only lived in the area for just over a year but can't believe how wonderful the staff are at this practice, the receptionists, nurses, pharmacists and doctors. I have rarely used the NHS before but having been seriously bitten by a dog last year I had no choice but to regularly attend, and everyone who I saw was absolutely amazing, and my wound has finally healed, thanks to the care I received. Thank you. My partner has had appointments for a skin allergy and again the care and treatment was first class.

  4. Review titled Thankyou

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Review: Attended today, bloods taken and short chat with receptionist, both ladies were brilliant with me, so kind and helpful, I am going thru a tough time with tests and Ill health and both gave me kind words and reassurance, I can honestly say each visit or phonecall I have had with the surgery has been a positive one, you all work so hard and have a tough time with people with many issues and don't get enough positive comments , there has been many occasion I have witnessed staff being verbally abused or treated with contempt, when you are doing your jobs, and what is asked of you within the rules of your roles, yet you still come in day after day and face us sometimes ungrateful public, I just wanted all of you to know that I appreciate you, and all you do, and have done day after day , even if I come in and am unhappy about something or worried and may possibly come across as rude or whatever because I'm worried or scared, please keep doing all you do, and know that without all of you ladies and gents across all areas, reception team, managers , nurses, drs , health care assistants, pharmacy technicians, pharmascists , cleaning team etc I appreciate you and the jobs you all do whilst maintaining your own lives and concerns , I hope that I haven't come across as patronising with all this because it's truly not my intention, thank you all for always and thank you for every moment of your time that you give to us the general public who come through those doors or speak to you on the telephone or recieve a visit at home .

  5. Review titled Almost impossible to access GP service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 31 August 2022

I have an ongoing health issue which flared up significantly over the bank holiday, I called 111 and was offered an appointment by the clinician but told my symptoms needed further investigation which they couldn’t initiate so I should either go to A & E or call my GP first thing on Tuesday morning which I did. I was number 4 in the queue and yet there were no face to face GP appointments which indicates there were possibly only three face to face GP appointments that day assuming those before me were given an appointment with a GP. I ended up visiting A & E where some possible causes were eliminated but I am still having pain and discomfort. I had a call from the surgery today regarding advice that the GP on a previous visit had requested from the speciality at the hospital. I was offered a telephone appointment in two weeks to discuss the advice but am not able to take that appointment so I now have to wait a month to speak with the GP that I have been seeing regarding this and the reason for the request by the GP for advice and guidance is that currently the wait for the particular speciality is 12 months. As a previous reviewer said this is putting added strain on A & E because the staff were not in the slightest surprised that despite being advised by 111 to see my GP I wasn’t able to get an appointment despite telephoning as soon as they opened.

  6. Review titled Very poor service from gp

Rated 1 star out of 5

Need to speak urgently with gp regarding a CT scan. Was told there were no more phone appointments available today, call back tomorrow. The call would only have taken 2 minutes. Could the reason that casualty and the ambulance service are so busy is that all GPS have gone into hiding
