Review titled No care or concern for the community

I have been trying to call the GP practise on a number of occasions now but only get a pre recorded message stating no one is available to answer the phones, and on the rare occasion when I do get through I’m in a queue of only 5 which for some reason takes more than 30 minutes to get through to a receptionist who just ended the call before I was able to speak a single word and on the second occasion I was on hold for 1.5 hours and the line was cut, this was whilst I was stated to be no.1 in the queue for nearly 40 minutes. This GP surgery has no care or concern for its community for which it is being paid to provide a service too, absolutely disgraceful and things need to change.

I attended Croft Shifa for an ultrasound. The receptionist was friendly and efficient . I was seen in good time. The ultrasonography staff were kind, reassuring and explained everything. I received a call from my GP with results within 24hrs. Thank you.

Receptionist do not answer the phone, it is switched off. You have to call numerous times and when you do get through there are no appointments left.

Review titled Disgusted with the complaints procedure and care

After having been disappointed by this GP on numerous occasions, it’s reached a point that I would have to complain. My appointments over the phone last 1min, maybe 30 seconds more. My in person appointments lasted 3 minutes. You can’t even take a patients history in that time. I have tried to complain and left details for the practice manager to get in touch (to which she has not). This care is borderline neglectful and I expected much better considering the practice history. I tried to call persistently today, 5th In the que for over half an hour? And then the line will disconnect. I have waited over 40 mins for appointments whilst sat there and had to make my presence at the clinic known over two occasions. God forbid those who cannot speak up for themselves are treated poorly. I will be taking further action.

Myself and my mother are really disappointed it’s been almost 2 weeks and we still can’t get an appointment due to busy lines with an automated messages that tells you to call back then disconnects. We have been with the practice for over 20 years even while it was a Bailey Street it’s a real shame the service has gone so poor and unprofessional. We are going to try again this morning to get an appointment alternatively we will look to change surgeries. Kind regards

Review titled Rude receptionist

I called up to ask when the Stoma Nurse would be arriving today, and in response the receptionist replied “I’m sorry I don’t keep tabs on everyone that walks in and out of the business”. When I did go to collect the box he refused to move from his seat and instead stretched as far as he could in his chair to try and get the box. Extremely unprofessional.
