Service at this practice is absolutely terrible , I am sorry to say - it is mainly due to reception staff ( some of them ) being very unhelpful ,giving incorrect advice , and telling lies. It is impossible to get an appointment , when you do finally get through and get put on a call back list - 3 times I did not receive call back. After my mums surgery when she required stitches removed - they advised to go to hospital to minor injury clinic , only after me strongly rejecting that suggestion appointment was created. Then again after nurse asked us to come back for check up after a week , we made an appointment and when we did get back appointment was missing and receptionist insisted we did not have one booked ! Only after her colleague hearing the conversation and telling her she witness us booking that appointment , we were allowed to see nurse. I now have been trying to get repeat prescription for over 2 weeks , first it was just not done , then again after second request . Yesterday i rang practice to be told again by reception that due to system issues it was printed rather than send to Pharmacy , she apparently checked and told be 100% it was at the practice and advised us we have to come in to pick it up. again today at surgery my dad tried to pick it up only to be told that it is not here at all , it wasnt done and they only now send a request to doctor to issue. We had number of forms missing...... You really need to get this sorted as receptionists are now being just rude to patients , I noticed especially when they can not speak very good english , they are being talk down at , ignored. on a positive note clinicians we see are always very helpful , knowledgeable and nice . My biggest stress is dealing with receptionist , I found them to be lying so many times it is just wrong ...

Never have appointments, can't even book to get my recent small operation to have the dressing changed, I have to phone on the day I need the dressing changed and take pot luck. Took 8 mins to answer the phone even though I was 'first' in the queue. Twice they have sent us to our seriously over-stretched hospital in the last 2 months. One of the issues absolutely did not warrant a hospital visit and 7.5 hours in the A&E department, the doctor even said 'I have no idea why they have sent you here' and apologised for them! They cancel booked phone appointments and don't tell you...I was also once forgotten in the waiting room when I went for a blood test and then they promptly lost my bloods. They wouldn't have known this if I hadn't phoned for the results. I could continue with my litany of issues with this surgery. Shoddy practice, awful.....

Excellent and Wonderful gp Practice and Health Centre This is an Excellent gp Practice and Health Centre with wonderful and compassionate Doctors, Medical Staff, Admin and Reception Staff who are very competent and act and behave in a professional and helpful and courteous manner. Cressex Health Centre has been providing exceptional patient care and support for myself and my family since we moved to High Wycombe and joined Cressex Health Centre over 2 years ago. We have always managed to book appointments and/or telephone consultations on the same day if we call early depending on our medical needs. Previously in London we would have had to wait for 2 weeks or go to the nearest Accident and Emergency Department. Repeat Medications ordered online or over the phone are processed quickly and efficiently without any delays. We are very grateful for the the medical and admin staff at Cressex Health Centre. Our recent experience at this surgery was extremely good. Dealings with reception staff and the GP were both efficient and thorough. I requested an emergency appointment for my child at 8:30 am and we saw a doctor that same morning. She was very thorough and called to check symptoms with the on call paediatrician. My first experience with this surgery could not have been better.
