   The surgery were excellent on the run up to the Easter break. I had just been discharged from hospital following major surgery and the hospital did not provide sufficient meds to last over the Easter weekend. A quick e-consult completed and more meds were prescribed & issued by the surgery before the bank holidays. A day later I had a telephone consultation with a GP because I was in significant pain at night and could not sleep. After a thorough but caring discussion, the GP prescribed more medication and ensured this was passed to the pharmacy team urgently. The pharmacy team issued the meds the same day, which was the day before the bank holidays, and this meant that I had my medications without needing to work out which town has a pharmacy open on Good Friday, and then have to travel to collect them. I am so grateful to everyone from the surgery who pulled out all the stops to ensure I was as comfortable as possible over the Easter break. Thank you all for helping me, and all the other patients you help every single day.
