An H C A took blood samples from me on November 27 and 29 in 2023. I have a history of it being difficult to locate veins and then bleeding quite slowly. To the extent that during an emergency hospital visit the previous year, I passed out whilst staff tried to take blood at the thought of them trying somewhere else other than my arms/hands. She was so reassuring and very genuine in how she tried to reassure me, keep me calm and explain what she was going to do. Just simple advice to make sure I was hydrated meant that the experience was the best ever of having blood taken! Indeed when I had to return for a second sample, due to difficulties at the lab, She managed this even easier than a few days earlier. Just recently, a friend happened to mention that he had a similar experience and we concluded it was again the same H C A who had taken the blood on this occasion. I very much want to recognise that this H C A has demonstrated compassion and patience with her patients and in a world where there is an ever increasing demand to criticise, how much I want to thank her for her care. I am left with a lot less anxiety over the next time I might need to provide a blood sample.

On time. Welcoming, listened to carefully and didn’t feel rushed. Felt taken seriously and offered helpful advice and medication fully explained. Appreciate the fact that someone cared.

Thank you so much, to all the staff at Cotswold Medical Practice. Bourton-on-the-Water. From reception to all departments, I found the staff to be friendly, polite and helpful. An amazing team of people. In my experience the Doctors are always helpful, they take the time to listen to you and discuss your health issues, making you feel at ease, whether it be a face to face consultation or a call back service to update your current health condition. The care shown has been second to none. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Thank you all so much for your support.

I booked the only available GP appointment 2days ahead, and the whole process was just a dream … from easy patient login, through a really warm and compassionate GP assessment, and then great help from the Dispensary at the end. Thankyou

I made an emergency appointment at short notice on 27Jan 23 and became very unwell whilst there. The assistance I received was absolutely exemplary.. They should all be very proud of the service which they provided . No words can adequately describe my appreciation and thanks to the magnificent team who stayed on an hour after closing time to make sure that I was absolutely safe. You just cannot put a price on that sort of exemplary service and support. Mike Cuttell
