Had a telephone appointment followed by visit to the surgery. No waiting, clear and polite dialogue.

Had to ring as no email address easily accessible online. Hospital won’t send info to gp -‘you do it’ My time being wasted and reception team time wasted as having to ring up to tell them info. Can’t get through so given up.

My partner saw the Nurse for a health check, very detailed and looked at some of my medication and asked the doctor to line up my prescriptions This helps me a lot. Felt a whole lot better when I left, Just wanted to tell the staff they were so very kind

This is my 2nd visit and both have been long wait times with minimal care by the GP’s. On this occasion a patient was called 45 mins after her appointment and then sent back whilst the General Manager had a meeting with the GP to which I heard conversation on rotas and administrative tasks. Both me and the other patient spoke to the receptionist but the general manager and GP persisted in their conversation. The patient was called in 20 minutes later and now the GP is at least an hour behind and still talking to the general manager rather than seeing his patient. The last time I came there was still a big wait and then I was queue jumped by another patient for the reason she had to go to work and therefore completely neglecting that I was also working and came out of work for the appointment. The GP was very unhelpful and I had to come back again 2 days later to see another GP who was much better in his assessment. There are things that are good such as the ease to make appointments and the receptionists who are friendly. It does feel that Cornerstone surgery isn’t the surgery it once was and so it should act upon certain things that are within the control of the management to provide a good duty of care and reduce patient wait times.
