I recently called the practice to register my pregnancy. After waiting 25 minutes in a queue, the lady who answered the phone said (this is verbatim): "we don't need to see you, just register on the online thingy. Is there anything else?" To which I replied "yes can you tell me what the 'online thingy' is??" The lady then "huffed" and told me to wait for her to find out the answer. I was disappointed in the lack of empathy, disgusted by the lack of professionalism and honestly a bit shocked that a healthcare practitioner can act like this with seemingly no care. This is my second pregnancy and I felt relatively comfortable trying to work out the next steps on my own, but if this was my first time, I would've been so confused. I know the practice is understaffed, but if this is the calibre of person being employed now, I would rather wait longer to see someone.

Already considering changing doctors surgery. As patients, we are expected to notify when we can't make an appointment but they can change appointments without your knowledge. Booked me in for an alternative appointment without letting me know or asking if I'm available... Meaning that if I hadn't done the alternative appointment, I'm the one who would have looked bad for not showing up to my appointment. The reason I needed to be seen was urgent.

I visited this practice for treatment of a UTI recently, and have been a patient there for ten years. I can't speak too highly of their standard of clinical excellence, patient-orientated care and accessibility. Judging by newspaper headlines, Langworthy Cornerstone practise is managing to buck all the trends, and continues to provide a very high level of care and commitment to community it serves. Well done to all the team.

Just listening to the News calling Gp surgerys , well i have been going to the Corner stone for many years , never NOT been able to get an appointment i want with the Doctor or Nurse always got one . Reception staff always very helpful and Polite . Credit to the whole team there and thank you . Mike Kiernan .
