Thank you to the GP who phoned me late last night to discuss ongoing concerns after major surgery. His detailed and methodical approach clearly identified the possible problem, gave a medical and non medical approach to deal with issues and went the extra mile in organising blood tests and samples to reassure me and him of any possible infection. At this busy time of year, his patience, knowledge and no nonsense approach was very much appreciated. Hope you all get a chance to unwind over the Christmas period. Great service!!

Thank you to the nurse who called me back this afternoon to allay my concerns following major surgery last week. With clear, calm knowledge of information helped reassure me before the weekend was upon us. I came away having felt listened to and felt she understood the reason for my concerns. Thanks also to the admin member who had to listen to be attempt to describe my symtoms/concerns and dealt with the call patiently and efficiently. Always receive "Great Service" from this practice. Hope you all get a well-deserved break over the Christmas period and come back refreshed in the New Year.

Had my bloods taken and booked my flu jab. Staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. People are to quick to whinge. But Three cheers for Compass House. Thank you.

An infected wound resulted in a second visit to the surgical teams at Torbay. Afterwards, I was very concerned about further wound infection but lacked the knowledge and experience to monitor my condition. I was really fortunate that the practice nurses at Compass House had the expertise and experience to support me during the early days of my recovery. The nursing staff displayed both their professional abilities and their kindness during the sequence of wound inspections and dressings.

I’ve always found the staff really helpful. In particular recently, although they were extremely stretched they found time to deal with request. Couldn’t be more pleased.

This was my first appointment at Compass House after transferring from another practice. Being the day after a Bank Holiday I thought it very doubtful that I would get an appointment the same day. However I was seen that afternoon, when I was told that I needed a blood test to confirm that I was not at risk of a blood clot. I was given an appointment on the spot for a blood test early the following day. At the second appointment it was found that another blood test was overdue and this was offered at the same time. Later that day I received the result of the blood test. I was relieved and delighted to receive such prompt and reassuring service from the people I met - receptionist, practitioner and doctor. They were excellent.

I am fairly new to the area. I had appointments with two GPs at the practice this week. They were both professional with a very caring nature and excellent communication skills. I was seen in a timely manner and offered an appointment quickly. The reception staff we also very professional and welcoming and communicated so well.
