  1. Review titled Receptionists

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I queried getting a appointment for a hospital review, due after being on a drug for 5 years. I was told rather abruptly to go to the website and access their triage system. There wasn't such an option for simply asking a question on the list. I had actually been on the phone - receptionist incredibly unhelpful. This wasn't the first time I'd tried to see someone at the Practice. I'd given up previously and I'll give up now and have every intention of stopping the medication. What's the point? I don't know if it is affecting me either positively or negatively without a full check after all this time. As other people have commented, the medical staff themselves are very helpful - when you can get beyond the receptionist and actually see them.

  2. Review titled Awful experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

Would not recommend. Issues lie with reception- main receptionist is very rude and unsympathetic. Complaints receive no reply- despite chasing. Very hard to get to see a Doctor. Nurses are lovely if you do get in there. Errors made with prescriptions. You have to fight hard to be seen and get you prescriptions. Worst experience of my life (and I've had 2 children). Raises my blood pressure every time I pick up the phone to them or attend. Have decided to change surgeries - despite having to travel further.

  3. Review titled Not a great practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Bit of a miserable experience really. The trainee GP googled my symptoms in front of me, which was slightly disconcerting. Apart from that, it's mainly the receptionists who give this place a bad name, very argumentative and combative, but also badly organised. I simply needed to pick up a prescription, however, between half a dozen highly ambiguous, confusing and wrongly formatted texts (asking for text replies, when the sender doesn't support text replies?) (sending me text messages asking how I'm feeling, immediately after we have just spoke on the phone about how I'm feeling?) (asking me if I need antibiotics in a text message with no link, half a day after speaking to me on the phone to confirm my prescription and when I should pick it up?). It was just tiresome. I have spoken to a lot of people in the area who feel the same way about this place. They are generally very pleasant when you're at the surgery, it's mainly just the receptionists and the communications systems they're using.

  4. Review titled Practice in the wrong place, to small, needs to move.!!!!!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

The Colwall surgery, could move to the old primary school site, it is larger and extended there would be more parking extended building could accommodate more of the increasing number of Colwall residents and could be a health centre covering many needs for the local community. Rather than loosing them to Ledbury, extended would be ideal. A compromise facility for example, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Dental Surgery. Please consider this option and make the OLD survey HOUSING. Regards James and Carol Smith Colwall Green.
