In my working capacity I have had cause to work alongside your Frailty Care Coordinator recently. Her commitment to ensure the best outcomes for her patients/my clients is of the highest level. She went above and beyond because she genuinely cares for her patients and i believe this feeling is reciprocated. I just wish all Medical Centres/GP Surgeries had a frailty care coordinator like Collinghams as it would make my job easier and the life of my clients better.

I was seen by a Dr recently who thoroughly explained everything to me and followed up 2 weeks later to check on me. I can't compliment this surgery enough. Well done everyone.

It has taken 40 minutes for me to get through to the surgery on the telephone Usual excuse of “shortage of staff” and being very busy for delivering poor service This is just an example of the inefficient and carefree attitude delivered to patients on a daily basis by an ineffectual and dismissive management team to a captive patient list that has no other options

The practice has always provided excellent care and in particular the last few years with my husband’s dementia The Frailty team has been a great support to us with the problems associated with Dementia / Alzheimers. A lifeline which we are so lucky to have at our surgery and I don’t know how we would have coped without their advice and support. I feel so lucky to be a patient at this practice I know I have people there who can be relied upon to always do their utmost for their patients and their families.

The Frailty Care Coordinator has been an amazing support to my parents since my Father has deteriorated with a long term health condition. Recently when my Father needed an urgent review she organised this promptly for us and she has also arranged his COVID vacccine and blood tests to be taken at home because he is housebound. She is kind, helpful and knowledgeable - a brilliant asset to Collingham Medical Practice.

I phoned to make an appointment to see a Doctor. The lady on the phone did ask questions although I felt this was done respectfully. I then received a link to book an appointment, where I was able to choose one that suited me. The Doctor was very thorough when I saw her and I felt the overall experience was positive.

Patients are very quick to criticise Collingham Medical Centre but I wanted to say thank you for a recent visit when I received outstanding service. I had an appointment with a practise nurse for a blood test. I was seen on time by a kind, gentle and efficient nurse who not only took my blood but answered all my questions and suggested I asked at the reception desk for an asthma review. To my astonishment, I didn’t have to wait weeks, the reception staff managed to arrange an appointment with the asthma nurse on the same day. My second appointment was on time and again to my astonishment, the asthma nurse not only took time to review my asthma and advise me on my condition but carried out a full medication review ‘as I was there’. Both nurses were so patient and reassuring and gave me so much information about how to keep myself healthy. Thank you for an excellent service.

Several weeks ago the med center new I needed an mri scan for my spine, oppointments were by phone, or altered to a phone call appointment again.palmed off elsewhere ,no information given, supposedly eventually sorting out an appointment for scan and nothing, you phone up, first in line yet still takes almost half an hour to be answered, ignorance, then still no information, you have to do everything yourself, not even worth 1 star, diabolical.
