Saw doctor regarding trigger finger, though I also asked about other things. On time. Very professional, informative and helpful. Couldn’t ask for better care.

Felt listened to and time taken to address my concerns. Have been able to make some face to face appointments. This has not always been the case. Prompt texts and communications regarding test results.

I recently had a cervical screening appointment with the practice nurse at Clarence Medical Centre. I was very nervous before attending. The Practice Nurse I saw was very patient with me, caring and genuinely a lovely person. She listened to my concerns and explained everything thoroughly before the screening. She gave great care and I want to say a big thank you.

Booking through the e-consult was easy and straightforward and the receptionists were extremely helpful when we needed to check details about our appointment. My daughter was made to feel very comfortable during her procedure, and both the GP and nurse were brilliant. A very positive experience, thank you to everyone at Clarence Medical!

Been finding hard to get appointment and with different ways to communicate with the practice through e-consult. When seeing a doctor it was great relieve and couldn’t have asked for a better doctor . Thank you 🙏

The practice has few amazing GPs who are great and actually doing the right thing for you. Majority of GPs at this practice are difficult, not listening and jumping in to very generalised assumptions. I'm sure the reason for the visit is to check the individual in front of you and ask the right questions. I understand that we are all busy and jobs are demanding, however professionalism and compassion are very basic things to expect when you are unwell.

One of the Senior GPs has been supporting me through an extremely difficult time at home, which has had a serious impact on my own health. She has allowed me to book regular face-to-face appointments and having a doctor to offload to has not only made me feel supported and looked after but has also given me the reassurance that there is someone who understands the situation, should things escalate. I recently saw one of the newly-appointed, junior doctors as an emergency appointment for a flare-up of a chronic health condition and he was extremely thorough and very personable. A few weeks later, some of the symptoms returned and I completed an e-consult online. The doctor issued a prescription for me within hours and I was able to pick the medication up from my nominated pharmacy on the same day. Earlier in the year, when I contracted COVID, I was called by the ‘Oximetry at Home’ service, who monitored my condition remotely for almost 2 weeks. At one point, there was some concern about my oxygen levels and they sent an emergency doctor out to check up on me. I had no idea that such a service existed locally but it really was first-class, with someone calling me almost every day until I tested negative again. I have had my fair share of bad experiences with the NHS, and this practice, over the years but, with all the pressures on the service at the moment, I think Clarence Medical Centre should be applauded for the excellent care that they are now providing. Admittedly, it can be difficult to get through to the surgery at times, but I find that the receptionists do their best to get you what you need under, what must be, difficult circumstances for all the staff. Thank you to all involved.

Obviously too busy to cope as trying to see a Dr here is impossible. Only Twice this year ( thankfully) I haven’t received so much as a call back and whist i must appreciate how busy a surgery must get, don’t have any expectations if you are looking to register or get anything back however basic your request for medical guidance may be. Disappointing.
