  1. Review titled Frustrating and time consuming to deal with

Rated 1 star out of 5

by DAVID DORAN - Posted on 03 October 2022

I registered here in September 22 bringing in my Id and completed forms, I was assured I would get a text with information regarding accessing my account via Patient access, this text has not come, I have tried phoning now today 16 times, it finally gave me the option to request a callback on the 16th attempt. I'm at the stage where I feel like writing a letter with my question to request the text to allow me order my repeat prescription. I work in Manchester and will have to take a day off work if I need to go in face to face. I'm already regretting registering here, why did the reception advise something she could never deliver on I don't understand. Pretty poor way to operate from where I at, thank goodness I am not poorly and in need of a GP.

  2. Review titled Impossible to get to see a Doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried calling every minute for 45 minutes, then got automated “leave No and we will call back” got call back to say all appointments gone, need to book an emergency appointment- they are also gone. Ended up in desperation driving to the surgery - wasted my time. We need to move to another practice. Have booked a private GP appointment- beyond despair.

  3. Review titled Extremely unprofessional service

Rated 1 star out of 5

So to get positives out of the way: Use of technology is better than many other GPs, phone service and usage of apps and text makes it a lot more convenient than your average GP. On to the negatives, the place is run like a fast food service, you are in a queue, rushed in and then rushed out. My appointment was not only late by 40-45 minutes but when I was there each symptom I brought up was not diagnosed like a doctor but rather like a robot looking for a quick fix via pill or something else to move the conversation along without doing any diagnostic evaluation. This all ended extremely rudely when before I even had a chance to finish what I was saying I was practically told I had to go as the next patient was waiting too long...as if I wasn't? My request for my fitnote to be backdated between the day I booked the appointment stating I was unwell and the actual appointment (5 days!!) was rudely rejected and made out to be my fault with a very "computer says no" attitude. No one could explain to me why it was acceptable that I could be self certified for 7 days, book an appointment on the 8th day to see a GP, and wait 5 further days for the appointment to actually take place and somehow that period of time cannot be backdated because I lacked the clairvoyance to know that I would be sick after the 7 days, and know how backlogged the GPs appointments are!? Everyone in this process has acted rudely with a lack of compassion, there's absolutely no need for it. And the rigid "GP says so" attitude has forced me to file a formal complaint and to vouch to never set foot here again. Absolute disgrace to healthcare.
