  1. Review titled Difficult to access never answer the phones

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 04 January 2025

Tried to contact my GP after the bank holidays after Christmas in the afternoon no one answered the phones and there was a message that they were closed. They should have been open to 6:30. I visited the new building there is no intercom, doors closed not able to speak with anyone ended up going to A&E.

  4. Review titled Awful gp - does not take mental health seriously

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Amber - Posted on 08 July 2024

I recently got the courage to finally go to the doctors about my mental health (I never go to the doctors for anything so to make this appointment means I am seriously suffering) I explained to the doctor that I have never suffered with mental health but the last month I have not been able to leave the house, have constant fear and my personality has completely changed. Straight away the doctor interrupted me and said I need to do breathing exercises and that will stop the anxiety. Never in my life have I felt so unheard. Before visiting the doctors I have been going privately to CBT and doing all I can to try and fix this myself. The doctors was my last resort and this is exactly why I didn’t go to them sooner. After being told all I can do is “breath” I then begged if there was anything else we could do. The doctor then said “I don’t prescribe antidepressants in my surgery, it’s not how I do things”. I had never been so upset. Never have I wanted to be on any type of medication but being unable to leave the house or enjoy life, I thought I would get more support. The appointment lasted 5 minutes and I left feeling more down than when I walked in. The doctor did not care, and did not understand mental health I will never use this gp practice again and I urge anyone suffering with mental health to avoid at all costs I suggest that you train your doctors in mental health and how they can support their patients. No referral for therapy, no talk of medications. Nothing. I am disgusted

  5. Review titled Untrustworthy

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Elizabeth - Posted on 02 May 2024

I left a honest comment on google as I had received a link from the practice. My review was taken down as I had stated the access to a GP was poor as the receptionist have been instructed in their non medical trained 'computer says no' minds to screen your symptoms and direct you elsewhere. Anyone but a doctor. The staff must be working on management instructions as it is rated as excellent. Take the 5star reviews on google with a punch of salt. I fear a patient will come to harm if they are not persistent in getting to see a doctor.

  6. Review titled Use of Zero Tolerance To Silence Patients

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 06 November 2023

I was asked to use the practice site to write any issues I had with the service I had received. When I did I was told that my expectations were unreasonable and if I repeated the request ( for a more comprehensive look at all my issues at one consultation and not 1 on its own at each visit) I would be removed under zero tolerance policy.
