We were on time for our flu vaccines and were ushered in immediately. Our details were checked and agreed. My wife was first and mine followed shortly. Absolutely no problems and were soon on our way home.

Attended for my flu vaccination. Arrived 4 minutes early, was greeted immediately by nurse. Both nurses very friendly, had a little joke and left 2 minutes later, vaccination complete.

Review titled Worse Practice Please avoid
Rated 1 star out of 5

It is always very difficult to book an appointment with this practice. But lately was impossible to book any appointments for the next weeks. I need to wait long time before i speak with the receptionist and the voicemail machine is remaining me all the time to visit to the AE if urgent. They do not have enough doctors. I tried to book a e -consult at 11 am and says we do not accept e consult please call 111 or visit to AE. Poor ae and 111 to do there job when they should see there patients. I Called the practice to book an appointment. I was told no appointments available, you need to call at 8 am in the morning . Appointments are only for the day. I cannot book an appointment even after two weeks. How many people will call the same time at 8 am for the appointment. Some of them will be urgent some of them just to speak with the gp . Doctors of this practice are not interested for the patients at all. They do not hire enough doctors to cover their NHS work. Someone from the CQC needs to investigate this case further.

Thank you for your feedback. We are normally able to speak to all patients who contact us by midday each day on the day, seeing those that need to be seen in person. We prefer direct feedback as this allows us to look into your comments in more detail. We are happy to investigate your concerns and would be grateful if you could contact the practice by phone on 0208 430 7020 and ask to speak to a manager or via the practice website: churchcillmedical.nhs.uk so we can look into this in more detail. Review titled Unable to get appointment
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I am a new patient and have been ring every morning to get an appointment only to be told that there isnt any. I have found a lump on my testicle and need to see a doctor asap and keep getting fobbed off. Why are you advertising for new patients when you cant give an appointment. Also been told to ring at 8am but the line is constantly busy for 20 mins and when I finally get through your in a queue which sometimes cuts off so you have to start again and when they finally answer they've got no appointments.

Dear Patent, I’m sorry to hear of the experience you are finding in gaining access to the appointment system. We offer over 100 appointments daily and once these appointments have been filled patients will be referred to 111 if they are unable to wait for the following day for routine matters. Urgent cases will be allocated to the Duty Doctor team on the day. Our phone lines are extremely busy throughout and we ask patients to be patient and stay on the line for their call to be answered as each call is important to us. The call handlers work considerably hard and give each call the time that is needed to deal with patients request and some calls may take longer than others to be answered and we hope patients are understanding of this. We also offer an e consultation service, by logging onto the practice website if patients are not able to wait on the telephone line. Due to your medical condition, it is strongly recommended if you have not since been seen by a GP and still require medical attention, please contact the practice as soon as possible so you may receive the attention and care that is required. Please complete an e consult via the website or call the practice on 0208 430 7020. Regards Interim Practice Manager Ms Shirley Stewart
