  1. Review titled Impossible to see doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have now been calling at 8am everyday for over a month only to hear a message saying " all our receptionist are busy the phone lines are now closed" this has happened on many occasions at exactly 8m. When you do eventually get through later surprise no appointments. i have asked why this happens when calling and the receptionist have said it does not come up with that message. The staff on the phones are so rude, i have even tried going into the surgery at 8am only to be told by the receptionist she cannot book appointment (what is she there for). What are people supposed to do, i called 111 and was told i need to see my GP told them this is impossible and they told me they would send a referral and GP must see you within 5 working days of the referral and the GP Surgery has a Duty of Care which does not seem to be the case in this surgery there is an absolute lack of care within this surgery. I do not understand why they have stopped being able to book appointments for another day, if i called and was told no appointments today but we can book appointment for you in 2 weeks time that would be fine. Not everybody needs appointments on the same day, I am at a total lost what to do or where to go for any medical help or advise. Maybe its time to start looking at private medical healthcare.

  2. Review titled Cannot get an appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang using landline at 07:59 lines closed rang at 08:00 queue ahead is full. At same time on NHS app appointments dropped at 08:03, two available. Selected one hit book button and response was no appointments available. Back to landlines rang repeatedly for 15 minutes - queue ahead full every time. At 09:20 spoke to reception no appointments (obviously) couldn't tell me how many appointments are available each day or why queue is full bang on 08:00 am. This experience is a regular occurance. Was advised to go through 111 I'm reluctant to use a service that is meant for emergency care. Reception colleague said several people manned the phoned and kept repeating that I had to phone at 08:00 am. Appreciate many others saying the same thing when they finally get through. Doctors are helpful if you get an appointment which is proving to be impossible.

  3. Review titled Try and Get an Appointment!!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

As I am of a certain age I have been invited to have an MOT, great I thought, just need to call your local GP and make an appointment. Made the call and was told I was number 8 in the queue, waited and waited and it was confirmed three times I was till number 8 in the queue. After 12 minutes of being number 8 the phone hung up! If you try and get an appointment with this surgery you are better taking a trip to the local cemetery because you will be seen quicker!
