I done an E consult on the 29th and was told I’d receive a call anytime before 6.30pm on the 30th, I called at 5pm to be told nobody had looked at my consult and they would get to it ‘very soon’. Last time I went in for an appointment I was waiting in the reception for 45 minutes before I had to leave due to having prior arrangements, the receptionists are rude and helpful and the doctors just do not care.

I rang last night to make an appointment to see a doctor ,I was told to come in to the clinic tomorrow morning to see a doctor … I returned the next day to be told, no you can’t see one.. you have to ring for a E appointment!!! Why couldn’t they have told me that when I rang yesterday

Today I walked into the surgery and explained my husband had an infection in one of the surgical wounds he had following recent Liver Resection surgery. I showed a photo I had taken of the infection a few hours previously and within minutes the Practice Nurse had phoned through a prescription for antibiotics to our Pharmacy. Later, when it turned out our nominated pharmacy could not fulfil the prescription but the other pharmacy in the high street could (with amendments) I returned to the surgery where reception staff took my request straight into a GP who phoned through an amended request to the alternative pharmacy. An excellent example of efficient and supportive community care. Thank you to all from my husband and myself.

Phone everyday to be told no appointments available. If you are lucky enough to get a telephone consultation, you then have to sit at home waiting for an appointment. I waited 7hrs, ended up phoning surgery to be told I had been forgotten so would need to phone next day for an appointment. Ended up phoning 111.
