My daughter, who has additional needs, got out of hospital 4 days ago, to find out her gp surgery have de registered her as a patient, meaning whilst unwell, and relying on medication and follow ups, she has to find a new gp practice asap.

Ive been registered here since moving to the area and have fortunately not had to access the practice much. However, recently, I have needed an appointment and its been hard tk get through, with very long wait times on the phone, and when you get through I have found reception staff to be slightly rude. Perhaps they need additional training in customer service.

We usually have plenty of staff answering the phone but without knowing when you called I am unable to see if we had a problem on that day. Ive had a poor experience and wouldn't recommend. Ive had issues with my medication, getting treatment for my health conditions, getting appointments and poor communication. Wish I'd registered elsewhere. No other practices in the area are taking on patients who are already registered with a gp so I cannot change gp at the moment

Ive had a few difficulties recently. For example I was waiting on a referral to a private clinic, and they told the clinic I didnt want the referral, which was untrue. My medications have also been difficult to get, despite these being from a consultant at the hospital. A month ago I had an afternoon telephone appointment and they called at 11am and I missed it.

I called and made an appointment with GP and due to the triage reasons I was advised a double telephone appointment had been booked for me (even though I am sure a face-to-face would have been more suited). When I didn't receive the call I called the practice and was told there was no record of my appointment. They did offer a clinician to call me, which I was most grateful for however when the clinician she was very abrupt, and not helpful at all. If telephone appointments are the way forward it has to be realized that sometimes only. face-to-face will do the issue is of a sensitive nature with a family history which is why I have concerns. The appointment has left me reeling with Anxiety and still no further on with relieving my anxiety

I would like to Thank all the team at Christiana Hartley Medical Centre. From Booking telephone appointments and appointments. To practice Nurse visits. Also face to face consultations. These have all been professional and supportive for any of my families medical needs. You are all doing an excellent job. We truly have the best GP practice for our family.
