    I’ve been trying to secure some medication from my GP in readiness for an operation. It’s been a struggle over the past two weeks - as the surgery continues to embed the merger and Klinik. Today, I managed to speak with a long-standing member of the team (I’m not able to provide a name in this review) and she was her usual brilliant-self! A good listener, kind and sensible - my medication was organised within minutes. Huge thanks to this member of staff for her professionalism and care.

    As I am recovering from a heart intervention, I need help with medication and support. I am very happy with the attention I received from my GP and the receptionists. Very fast response and very helpful with whatever matter I needed help. I would recommend this medical health practice to everyone in need of quick and caring attention.

    I came in for a health check with one of th nurses who was incredibly friendly and thorough with all the checks required. It was carried out in a very clean environment and she answered all of my questions 10/10

    Had tests between Nov and Feb. Everyone I came into contact with was friendly, professional and efficient. Special mention for the doctor who was really professional, informative and supportive. A great team. Thank you.

    I look after an elderly patient of this surgery who needs help from carers. I do not live in London but last October I went to the surgery and dropped off the Hounslow Council form and a stamped addressed envelope with a note explaining what was required and providing my details so that I could pay if there was a charge. Nothing happened, so I emailed the surgery the form, but still nothing happened. In January, I rang the surgery and was told the process I needed to follow to get a doctor's certificate, which included me posting the surgery the form and another stamped addressed envelope. Three weeks ago, I received an email asking me to pay £42, which I did on my friend's behalf. I had a couple of phone calls before I received the invoice but I've heard nothing since. My 97-year old friend's need for care has increased since last October but I appear to be no closer to getting the doctor's certificate despite spending £42 three weeks ago. It's utterly appalling.

    My appointment was actually at Wellesley Road practice.My appointment was at 11.20 a.m and I was actually seen at 11.a.m.I was greeted by a very friendly bubby nurse who immediately put me at ease.The nurse was very informative and explained everything to me,I did not feel rushed at all and all my questions were answered.The nurse is a credit to the surgery.

    I had more than 40 satisfactory years as a patient registered with the Wellesley Road Practice. I have had a really horrible time since the merger. The staff at Chiswick Medical Practice seem to regard patients who need attention as a nuisance. I have registered now with another practice. I am old and disabled, and am not well. Sara Parfitt

This is not the experience we want any of our patients to have — especially those who are older and managing complex health needs. We know change can be unsettling, and while the merger was intended to improve care and increase resources, it’s clear that we did not meet your expectations or provide the support you needed.     Unable to email or telephone the surgery, just going round in circles on websites not helpful. Will have to visit surgery if I can get time off? Just simple prescription request!

We’re actively working to improve access — including making our online systems clearer and reducing phone wait times. You should be able to request repeat prescriptions easily through the NHS App or your pharmacy, but we understand this isn’t always obvious or accessible.
