Having to get online at 7:59 and hit refresh in the hope you can request an appointment is ridiculous. What's more, having a trainee doctor sit in front of you and use the NHS website to research your symptoms if you do manage to get an appointment is a waste of resources. It feels like a fight, to get any engagement from this practise. After multiple decades, i am looking for a new practise, i can't see how it could be worse. It's not like anyone knows me there.

Unable to take non-urgent appointment requests by phone, referred to the website. By 10am the online booking form has 'reached safe working capacity' so you have to come back tomorrow. I've recently experienced booking an appointment for another GP surgery in the area and got straight through by phone with no hassle booking a non-urgent appointment - don't know why it needs to be so difficult!

I have been trying for 2 weeks to get my child an appointment using online system without success. When calling surgery I was informed appointments can only be made online and nit over the phone as the partners have removed that option. Even when on the online system at 8am always says capacity has been reached and unable to request an appointment. How are we supposed to be seen if online appointments are at capacity and phone appointments aren't an option? Take my child to A&E and take up space that a seriously ill person might need?

Trying to book an appointment to see a doctor is ridiculous. I went in person to the surgery at 09:17 to request an appointment only to be told it could only be done online and that todays allocation had already been reached. Therefore I would have to try online in the morning at 08:00. This system needs to be more flexible especially for those of us who are older and now retired.

I want to thank the GP I saw today who listened to my health concerns, was reassuring and promptly made referrals for tests. Moreover the reception staff were very helpful and tried to group my appointments together to save me from taking extra trips to the surgery. Thank you Chineham Medical Practice

I placed an online prescription request yesterday (Sunday) and received notification from pharmacy that they’d received it before 9.00 this morning ( Monday), excellent service. Thanks also CMP for offering the early appointments and to the two doctors for their help and support for my wife and myself recently. And I can now hear!!

As someone who has always dreaded and put off my cervical smear appointments, I have to say thank you to the nurse (who this NHS site does not allow me to name!) who carried out my last one in December. A process that is normally quite painful was over in seconds due to her experience and caring way of carrying out the procedure. It's not something anyone ever enjoys having to have done, but this time around it was 10x better than previously so I thank her for that.

I had the pleasure to be seen by a lovely doctor regarding my menopausal issues I was experiencing recently. The doctor was exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and kind. She was the very much listening doctor and she was the one understanding my situation. I felt that the doctor was really helping me, by giving advises and a prescription. Dr was arranging a follow up of the consultation to make sure I was doing OK. I greatly appreciate the doctor's time and the help I received in Chineham Medical Practice. Thanks a lot.
