I have tried so many times in he last few months to book an appointment. It is impossible to get through to the surgery on the phone at either 8am or 1pm. We have more chance of winning the hunger games than speaking to a doctor. I’m so fed up of feeling ill all the time and not being able to speak to somebody about my symptoms. The system is so unfair for people that work full time and don’t have the luxury of sitting on a phone line for 30 minutes twice a day.

Called up at 8am and was 18th in the queue. Managed to get an appointment with the GP on the same day. The doctor called me in and examined me later that morning. I was also recommended to see the physiotherapist which was booked in 2 days time. Really fantastic service. The doctor was very thorough. The receptionists were so lovely, especially having witnessed them deal with some very rude people in the waiting room. I've been registered at this surgery for 5 years having had experience with some other local GP surgeries, and can honestly say this is the best surgery in this area.

I have been with Chigwell Medical Center for some years. Doctors are so helpful staff are happy to help on the phone and are very polite and patient. such a warm caring surgery. Really would recommend Chigwell Medical Center.

Been trying to get an appointment for over 3 days calling 8am on the dot and still being number 30 every single time ! This is ridiculous and doesn’t make sense

At 8am this morning I was caller No.34, by 8.20am my call was answered and telephone appointment booked, well done for the quick response time

Very professional, always have time to talk and make you feel at ease, with no judgement. Prompt response. Best doctors I have ever had.

I have had fantastic help during my cancer journey where I was diagnosed at the centre with breast cancer, and during my treatment the doctors were very caring and understanding, nothing was too much trouble they rang me on a regular basis and at the time they said they were going to they never once missed an ppointment or call and I've also had fantastic care every time I visited on a regular basis to check in. they also helped me with my return to work journey.

It's very disappointing that the website has hardly any information on it and everything seems to lead to a "404 error page" message. why have a web page if it's not going to be set-up properly or maintained? Van't even find out who the Practice doctors are......

Sadly the practice has declined, not all but some of the reception staff have no People skills whatsoever and do not realise respect is a two way street, they should all be versed in this when dealing with the public which in some cases involves very vulnerable people....and they should all remember any phone calls from patients should always remain private and confidential and should never be discussed amongst each other...I sincerely hope the practice listens to the comments made by its patients and You all try and improve the situation...bring Chigwell medical centre back to being a good practice...

If I could give no stars I really would. I have just had a phone conversation with a receptionist, who first of all answered the phone whilst eating/chewing something in my ear, and then was very abrupt, when I tried to explain how long people have to wait on the phone lines to get through. I had called this morning and this afternoon. The receptionist said it was pointless giving her that information as she has no control over this (which I do understand) and as she had no appointments to give me she was going to end the call, she then terminated the call whilst I was still talking. I waited 37 minutes for someone to answer the phone and was not able to get an appointment.
