I would like to praise the nurse I saw today, she really is an asset to your surgery! My son was having blood test this morning, he suffers from anxiety day to day and this blood test was very daunting for him. The nurse made him feel at ease from the second he walked through the door, going through ever step with him. We ended up in the room for around 40 minutes, doing the job myself I know how much it can affect the day running behind but not once did she give up on him. Unbelievably greatful for what the nurse did today.

After many tests we were fortunately referred to Bristol Heart Institute. Within short number weeks lifesaving heart surgery. All staff at Chew Magna were absolutely amazing throughout and still are. We are so fortunate to have this Practice and Pharmacy.

As a nearly 80 year old, I registered with this practice early last month. After 20 years, I have total peace of mind. The whole practice staff are pleasant, caring, understanding and, Most importantly, knowledgable. For the first time, in a very long time, I feel valued, understood and am more aware of my Thyroid issues than I have in 40 years. Thanks to the whole practice, I have total peace of mind. Thank you all.

I have been suffering slight chest discomfort. I rang reception and explained. The very helpful receptionist booked me for a telephone call with a doctor. I received the call within the hour and after talking to doctor was offered an appointment that day. An excellent service.

I could not be more happy to be a patient at my surgery. All the staff are kind and professional. I saw the nurse recently for a review and feel so confident my health is being monitored well. I can get an appointment when needed. Reception staff are easy to talk to and very sympathetic. We are very lucky in my area to have them all. Not forgetting the pharmacy staff who are equally as brilliant.

Everything about the way this practice is run is a blueprint of how a medical centre should be run. The entire staff that I have encountered have treated me with kindness and understanding and a high degree of professionalism. The experience is repeated from the reception, both in person and on the telephone.The nursing staff are outstanding in their manner and their caring attitude toward their patients.The collection point for medicines is also highly efficiently run. The doctors are of the highest calibre in both knowledge and attitude towards their patients in both knowledge and professionalism. It reminded me of what a visit to the doctor used to be years ago in a bygone era. Well done and thank you.

I have visited this practice on many recent occasions. In spite of problems being experienced elsewhere I have always received efficiency, politeness and help from the receptionists. When urgent I have seen an excellent and thorough doctor on the same day and ,if not, always within 24 hours. How can I ask for more?

What an excellent team of professionals at Chew Medical Practice, from front of house through to the highly skilled doctors. This surgery is an outstanding example of the NHS at it's best; a template for outstanding professionalism. The things that matter are at its forefront, kindness, care and understanding. The systems they have in place - call backs (they give you a time period), leaving samples for testing, test results line all add up to patients being re-assured they are in safe hands. The team obviously prioritise communication to, key to success. Today I had a consultation and medication ready for collection within a couple hours of my initial call - feeling better already. I could go on however would like to say a very 'special' thank you to you all for all the smiles and kindness, they are gratefully received.

I can not express my gratitude & thanks for the care and compassion Chew Medical Practice & their team of district nurse have given my father over the last year. They answer the phone, you speak to a person, they listen to your needs, they respond, return your call if asked for, They deliver prescriptions regularly with a cheerfully smile. The district nurse team are great their interaction while carrying out their care gives much pleasure when they are often the only visitor of the day. The doctors ring on a regular basis which give us reassurance. We are very lucky to have such a super team looking after us Thank you
