    Yes it’s super hard to get through for an appointment and yes you start with a telephone call with doctor in first instance. However today after my call I was seen face to face within an hour . Examined with full history taken and lots of tests ordered to follow up with another face to face appointment. Always treated with respect and dignity and feel listened too. I do feel safe with my GP has great values towards patients and I’d say loves the job.

    I contacted via the online service, responded to via phone within 48 hrs by my GP, who felt that the issue required a same day appointment. I very much appreciated the prompt response and follow up service. I have been a.patient here for many years and when it has really mattered the NHS has come up trumps. And yes, the telephone lines are always busy...... which is why I use the online service.

    If you want to get an appointment without the stress of trying to even get one, without being hungup on or without being told to call back later go somewhere else! It's a joke! Dedicate an hour or to continually redial 200+ times to even get to the queue, then another 40 odd minutes to queue to speak to someone, to then tell you there aren't any more appointments, or they hang up before you can even say hello, or tell you to call back later and go through the same damn process again. It's a joke of a practice. When you do miraculously get hold of these gold appointments, Doctors atleast have been good!

    I am sorry that you endured such comments. we have procured a new telephone system which will monitor all calls, this will help all our patients with a better service. This is new to be fully functional by October. The delay is due to bureaucracies in securing the provider and the services which needed to be configured accordingly. Please be assured we are working hard to provide services to all our patients as best as we can. We endure to change opinions through this telephone system.     Don't join this surgery. There telephone process of ringing at 8am each morning doesn't work. Again taken half hour to get through from 8am then told no appointments. Same problem yesterday. Hospital told me have dangerously high blood pressure but can't see a GP for help! Trying to change GP!

    Firstly, I am very sorry you feel you did not receive the service you would have wished for from the practice. We are aware of the issues with our telephone system and are in discussion to upgrade and improve it, the lead time for this is likely to be around 3 months to installation but we are optimistic patients will find a huge improvement once it is up and running. You can also contact us via our website, if you feel able to, to save waiting to get through on the phone. There are appointments offered at the local hub set up to support local GPs at times of increased demand. I was happy to note this option was offered to you.
