After a period of feeling unwell , i booked an appointment to visit the surgery, I was seen promptly by the doctor would was very helpful and quickly diagnosed the issue and resolved it .Good service all round .

Staff are kind and helpful, always offering additional support if needed. I’ve not had any bad experiences with either branch of this practice. Thank you all so much!

I have sat in this waiting room for over an hour for most appointments me and my family have had over the years ....However I turn up today with my daughter who is in alot of pain. I thought the receptionist said 2.20 we arrived at 2.18 to be told our appointment was at 2.10pm and the doctor won't see us. We arrived still within her appointment time but they turned us away. Instead of getting her in to see the GP they were more interested in listening to the phone call to confirm it was 2 10pm...!!! If your looking for a caring and personal GP this isn't the place... you are treated like a number and spoken to like you should be grateful whatever treatment or lack of you get.....!!!

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I would like to apologise for your poor experience. It is very reasonable for us to say if you are late for your appointment you may need to wait longer to be seen, as the doctor may need to fit you in around their fully booked clinic. If you are more than 10 minutes late then we may ask you to rebook an appointment for another day. However our receptionist did offer two alternatives so that your daughter could continue to see a GP the same day. Everyone at Cheam Family Practice strives to provide an excellent patient experience. General practice is in crisis. GP workload has increased substantially in recent years and it is very difficult to deal with patients safely in 2 minutes. If you wish to discuss this further please get in touch with myself. Cannot thank the admin staff enough for helping me to sort out hospital transport up to the Royal Brompton hospital in London. Also the support I have received from 2 doctors in particular who were both instrumental in sorting out my diagnosis one at Gander Green and one at cheam, you know who you are ! Thank you so much X

Extremely impressed by the service I have received over the last few weeks. I was seen by the same Dr over 3 different appointments who treated me with kindness, empathy and understanding. The Dr was very supportive during a crisis and I am forever grateful for their care and attention. Yes there was a long waiting time for a face to face appointment, but in the interim I was signposted to various different services that could help me while I waited. Thanks again!

I have not been with this practice for long but so far the staff have been really helpful in getting appointments at a time that suited me and getting my prescriptions have been very straightforward.

Very helpful, friendly and caring service received from medical staff and reception alike. Prompt follow up service received further to a blood test, timely referrals made and continuing treatment being received.
