Very professional and informative service given. A pleasant appointment a very comfortable atmosphere no stress was put very much at ease

I have called a number of times regarding my symotoms and am told by the reception to call 8-10, meaning I have to juggle work meetings and children's school drop. I called between 8-10 today to be told they're busy and have staff sickness so can not deal with me today unless it's urgent! This means if I have a serious underlying issue the reception staff have blocked me receiving medical attention. Last time these same people told me things were fine after an X-Ray and when I persisted to ask what the results were I was shocked to find there were things there that I was never aware of and required an ECG. Does someone have to die before this surgery up their game?! It seems our sickness and life have to revolve around a ridiculous 8-10 system, otherwise we just have to suffer or go and add to the A&E congestion due to inconsiderate GP Surgeries!

Been with this surgery for a long time and recently when I have needed to see a doctor the reception staff and the doctors have been really compassionate and understanding.10/10

Have recently transfered to this practice having moved into the area, service has been good the care excellent, communication always available, no problem getting thru to the surgery no long waits on the phone

I was disappointed to discover that they have adopted of a practice of only offering appointments on the day, based on a practice of calling in the morning between certain times. This means the only way to secure an appointment is to call (if you are successful in getting through and there being appointments) and see if there is something that works. If not this means a daily repeat of the same process. I have a non urgent, but essential reason for an appointment but cannot be available to call daily within those times or necessarily be available to attend an appointment on the day of the call. This creates a clear barrier to accessing health care and the surgery are not able to offer any alternative to enable health care access. If you are unable to fit into this restrictive policy then you will not be able to access medical attention through this surgery. You are also unable to escalate concerns as the staff who work there will not facilitate it and insist you call daily to try and speak to the relevant person to escalate or use an online facility. They are not prepared to communicate internally for the benefit of patients. They are not providing adequate, accessible health care in this circumstance.
