  2. Review titled Excellent Service

Three members of my family have needed to contact Brunswick surgery over the past few weeks and each time have been met with extremely efficient and helpful service. Prompt offers of appropriate same day reviews, including great flexibility in timing. Also used the out of hours service which was again very efficient, giving us an appropriate treatment and plan within an hour of calling up.

  3. Review titled Exceptional

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This surgery offers an outstanding service. You can always get a same-day appointment with a doctor. You have a choice of male and female doctors and everyone from the reception team to the medical practitioners are warm and friendly. You are never made to feel like just a number and (despite all of the team working flat-out), you never feel rushed. The online service is straightforward and user-friendly -even for those of us with limited i.t skills and/or patience. Members of staff exceed all expectations in their professionalism, their ability to listen, their willingness to help, and the speed in which referrals are made. It would be truly difficult to find a better surgery elsewhere. I've had great Gps before (across several London boroughs) but Brunswick is exceptional. I am both lucky and grateful to have benefited from the outstanding care offered by all of the Gps, physios, nurses, and reception staff at this health centre.

  4. Review titled Great Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Brunswick, my GP surgery deliver 1st class service to their patients. I have emailed 2 queries in the last 3 weeks and I have been called to book an appointment, or to discuss the next steps within 3 hours. This is exceptional and my friends registered at other GP practises are in awe of the service you provide and shocked at how very different their experiences are. I feel my health is in very safe hands, in your care. Thank-you very much!! You have very friendly, dedicated and caring staff.

  5. Review titled Face to Face appointments with same Doctor

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Jenny Clement - Posted on 20 October 2022

Having suffered a fall mid-April, fracturing 4 ribs and puncturing my lung on the right hand side. I am appalled by the lack of care shown by the 6 different doctors I have managed to see face to face. Only 1doctor have I seen twice. I am in more severe pain now than I have ever been, and I have difficulty breathing. I have had only 1 X-Ray some time ago, which was apparently normal. I have never had a scan to reassure me that my lungs are all well and also why I am suffering such pain now, 6 months later. I cannot sit comfortably, I cannot lie comfortably, and on my worst days I don’t know what to do with myself. None of this seems to spur the Doctors into activity and I am currently using the Lydocaine patches which I was using while in hospital. Painkilling tablets, even Cocodamol, do not help with the pain. I have tried so many times to get an appointment with a doctor with no luck, that I feel I am treated with negligence. My family cannot understand the lack of care that I have received, and nor can my Carers. I feel acute pain in my rib cage so sharp that I have to cry out and hang on to something. It is always shrugged off as normal and I am told yet again that it can take 2 months, 4, 5,6 months, even a year before I fully recover. I was in far less pain 4 weeks after I was discharged from Hospital and more confident. My Carers say that I am doing too much, the doctors say I have to push through the pain, though how I manage that when just breathing is painful I don’t understand. I long for my previous doctor whom I saw constantly and who could tell at a glance how I felt. He and his 3 colleagues were all familiar to their patients, who were then familiar to the doctors.. I understand that “things are different now”. However, I have friends elsewhere who have a good relationship with their doctor even now instead of being passed from pillar to post. On several occasions on a phone call to a doctor, I have suggested a possible aid for myself which has been acknowledged as a good possibility to try. My mental health has been discussed far more frequently than my broken body, without a thought that the lack of interest in my physical health is causing anxiety, not only for me but for my children also. I am becoming more and more worried.

  6. Review titled Really excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

After a phone conversation with one of the doctors I booked a follow up face to face appointment this week. The doctor was extremely thorough and listened to my present condition and family history carefully. I was then offered follow up tests for the following week, after the Doctor gave considerable thought to what I needed next. Really well managed GP with two excellent consultations. Thank you.
