    I was very happy that I was able to get the same day appointment when I called at 9am. I was given an appointment for 10.10. I arrived at 10.05am and was seen almost immediately . DrSyed was very polite and let me know what to do to relieve my ear pain. I was prescribed medicine and it was all smoothly done within ten minutes .

    I don’t go to the doctors very often and after the last few days and still no appointment although in pain I have remembered why. I waited 40 minutes and was 9th in the queue. Finally after moving incredibly slowly down the queue I was then told no appointments and a snidey remark that lines open at 8am. Yes they do and I have been trying to get through since 8am thank you very much and for the second day running. No pre bookable appointments available for the next week either. You can not pre book an appointment and can no longer book online with a GP so that system is a waste of time. I have been checking the online booking system for weeks and 100% no GP appointments become available. Calling at 8am and sitting in a queue for 30-40 minutes is your only option to try and get anywhere near an appointment but certainly more chance of not getting one. The surgery still haven’t gone back to face to face appointments since COVID and the GP will decide if they will see you face to face. Absolute waste of time, unless you pre book your illness many weeks in advance. Perhaps if the effort goes more into patient care and much less time on bombarding people with repetitive text messages the service could improve.

    We apologise that you have had problems booking an appointment at Broadmeadow Surgery. You can ring at 8am any weekday morning and we have a call back service so that if you are in the queue if you press a number we will call you back so you do not have to hold on, we do offer some pre-bookable and online appointments, we also offer face to face or telephone consults to patients when they ring. If you would like to discuss this matter further then please feel free to contact the Site Lead Officer at your surgery.     I had a very positive experience of the partnership's the surgery work with concerning skin care. My initial enquiry was handled very well by the reception staff who organised contact with a hub. A member of the Hub team contacted me exactly when they said they would and arranged a hospital appointment for the following week. I attended the appointment and was seen by a very friendly and efficient clinical photographer. Within a week my result were returned with details of the follow up treatment. My doctor contacted me and explained the next steps. I think this kind of partnership is wonderful. Throughout my concerns were treated seriously and swift action was taken.

    Firstly, I would like to say how easy I have found it to find an appointment via the app. It is quick and easy to do and can book one within the next 7 days. Any other surgery that I've been to usually takes weeks The doctors are exceptional and always have a solution to the problems I have. I have been struggling mentally recently and they have been supportive in guiding me through my personal issues and giving me the right support and advice. The receptionists are always quick, helpful and friendly. I've never had any issues with this surgery in the few years I've been with them, and you couldn't get any better in my opinion.

    You can not pre book a appointment and expect a long wait to get through at 8am. I waited 45 minutes and was 3rd in the queue. This is currently your only option to get a Gp appointment. You can not pre book face to face appointments or a telephone appointments the Doctor will only see you in person if they want too. Considering Co vid restrictions are a thing of the past, 6 + months they're still refusing to see patients. This is highly stressful for anyone who is ill or has commitments at 8am, not what you need if you are working or commuting either. I do not recommend this service to anyone. 111 gives a better service as you don't have to wait 45 mins just to speak to anyone.
