My partner phoned this morning to make me an appointment only to be told I had to do it myself and all they could offer is a call from the Dr,what's the point of this?unless of course these not so good NHS gp's can diagnose you over the phone, this particular practice couldn't care less about your health and wellbeing

My wife suffers from Alzheimer’s disease and recently we discovered that due to her illness we may be entitled to a council tax rebate. Therefore, we obtained the necessary claim form and duly completed the necessary sections. Part of the claim requires the signature of her doctor to confirm her mental health condition. On the 13 November along with a fee of £27, I handed the claim form in to the surgery, expecting a phone call in a few days informing me that the form was ready for collection. Unfortunately, after two weeks, having heard nothing I gave the surgery a ring. Only to be told it could take up to 30 days to have the form signed. Considering I had paid £27 for a service, 30 days appears to me to be an extraordinary long time to complete a courteous service. Considering my wife’s condition, the time scale seems rather unfair to me. It appears to me as if we are being considered with contempt, we are just nothing a nuisance. I am still waiting for the form to be completed.

Review titled Horrible service

My mom has some health issues and had been trying to make an appointment which always get cancelled. Have been at emergency and had been told that GP will follow up-they never did. Left her in pain and until this day we don’t know what was the issue. Now she has another health issue. Last Monday straight away after appointment referral has been made to hospital as matter or urgency. Hospital referred back to GP on the same day and we nearly in two weeks and letter still have not been reviewed, no action has been taken. This place needs to be shoot down immediately.

This doctor has got to be the worse around. Extremely hard to get an appointment. Finally get one and the doctors clearly don’t make notes correctly on accounts or at all. Was told would be Prescribed medication and sent to chemist a week later still not there. Called the surgery back and was told I’d need to make another appointment for this although there mistake. Wasted my time to go back to the doctors to be told nothing further they can do. Will be moving away from this doctors for good

Review titled The doctor made an extra effort to help a patient
Rated 5 stars out of 5

After having spent 12 whole hours at the QMC A&E, the next day I had a telephone consultation with one of the doctors and saw them face to face the following morning. They were not at all hopeful about a successful referral to a specialist. However, they picked up the phone and eventually spoke directly with the specialist on duty who agreed to see me that same day. The doctor was more amazed than I was. Many thanks to this doctor for having made that extra effort to help their patient.

Today I was with my partner to the GP with the same problem and the same result. She explain again what is the problem and wen she say to the doctor to give her some medication for the pane she refuse and to get ride of her again send her to the hospital. She was having her record on the computer on front of her knowing the problem. I will start to found a nother GP because this one's they don't know to do there jobs like a doctor. I am very disappointed.
