Review titled Caring staff
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Vanessa - Posted on 04 May 2025
My first visit to the walk in and I was very happy with the service right from the greeting at the reception. It took just under an hour to be seen but I was very pleased it wasn’t longer as expected to have to wait for hours. Great advice from the GP I saw who was clear in explaining what my diagnosis was and what treatment going forward was needed. Prescription sent to Boots and advised what to do next. Great service Thank you

I was seen immediately which is impressing and most importantly I was being heard. I have few visits in my Gp because of my ear but they all end up saying it’s ear wax, I know it is more that earwax , the lady doctor confirmed it’s infection and gave me medicine . I’m still not cure but atleast it’s a start. Thank you . Well recommended practice.

I really like this practise, I have used it a few times for myself and my children if we have needed to see a Dr on the weekend. I most recently went on a Saturday morning and got there for opening (8am) I was seen by 8.30. The drs are very nice, kind and efficient and they were able to help me. I would recommend this service.

Expected there to be a long waiting time even though it was a weekday morning but was seen within maybe 10-15 mins. Dr was efficient and dealt with things quickly. Explained what she was doing and some after care needs

Review titled Great experience

Came into this surgery on New Years Day after not being able to get a normal GP appointment, fully expecting it to be a busy and stressful experience, but was so pleasantly surprised. The space is clean and welcoming, and the reception staff were really friendly. The doctor I saw after just a short wait was kind and attentive, and really took the time to listen and empathise with me. I left with a treatment plan and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Thanks so much!

I was very poorly with a bacterial infection in my chest. The doctor was very professional and kind. The antibiotics he prescribed cleared the infection up over 10 days. I would thoroughly recommend this walk-in centre.

Review titled Very good Service

Having been unable to make an appointment with my regular GP (an all too common occuurance) despite suffering from a chest infection I went to the health centre. I was seen promptly, treated well, examined and prescribed appropriate treatment. All in all a much better experiance than that at my normal surgery.

I needed to see a doctor urgently first thing in the morning since I felt unwell the night before and my GP surgery wouldn’t open until 8:30 a.m. I was there early. I didn’t have to wait long to be seen. The doctor listened to my problem and prescribed me what I needed. However, I didn’t like when the doctor said I had to go to my GP surgery next time. It was unrealistic with the infection I had and I wouldn’t have started my medication as early as I did had I gone to my GP practice.
