I ran up today to discuss next steps and the receptionist didn't even bother to listen to me just told me to phone back at eight tomorrow. Two weeks ago I was down there and was told to get an in-person appointment because they hadn't listened to me or asked questions leading to when I went down there then telling me to get off of the medication asap. I have been fight with the doctors for three years now to get on the right track with my health and they have done nothing. This is disappointing.

I have a seizure disorder and have been seizure free for 6 years now. I’m asking for a referral to a Neuro specialist for a medication review and they did not bother to give me one. They said, can you not go back to your country and be seen by your neuro specialist there? I am a nurse here in UK and I never said anything like that to any of my patients I cared for. It was a disappointment for me. And my medical condition is not a simple matter to dismiss it like that.

I rang to book an appointment at 8.30 am and automated switchboard announce the lines for appointments will be opened between 10.30am and 12.30pm I rang 10.30 was in queue 1 hour 20 mins to be told that htey have no appointments available for a day and i need to call back tomorrow from 8am. When asked how come ? I rang 8am and the lines were closed the receptionist was not able to advise anythig apart from standard sorry! Comlete joke and mess!

Apologies for the delay in responding and thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We are aware of issues with our telephone system and are in the process of installing a new one, with the plan to improve access. We also have the Anima system (details on our website) which is another way to contact the surgery. If you wish to discuss this further, please contact the surgery and ask for a member of the management team. We apologise for the experience you have had but are working hard to improve this.

Phoned Wednesday 07 June 2023 at approximately 08-45, in the queue system for 15 minutes. Call answered in polite helpful manner. Informed Doctor would phone me later to discuss problem. Received return call 15.00 hrs and was in the centre for 16.30 hrs for consultation. Very Happy with the service given.

Spent two hours trying to get through to reception (08.00-10.00) without success, line constantly busy. Resorted to 111 as had infected tonsils and very inflamed lymph nodes. Took a while to get through to 111 but when I did they were very helpful. They managed to talk to the practice, but contacted me to make me aware the practice said I was no longer registered there - news to me! I had to call reception to try and rectify issue. They had no idea why I was no longer registered as a patient there and promptly put me back on the system after I stressed I urgently needed treatment in the form of antibiotics. A GP called me and I eventually got an appointment, but a patient shouldn’t have to spent roughly 5 hours on the phone to get a result. This is the second time over a period of roughly six Months where I’ve had trouble getting treatment, which isn’t good enough. The last time I had no option but to approach a pharmacist for treatment as had a severe case of conjunctivitis, the pharmacist was disgusted to hear I’d been that way for several days as was unable to get through to GP or 111. The practice is a shambles and unfit for purpose. I will be looking at transferring to another practice that provides a better service. I’m rarely unwell and It’s ridiculous that I’m unable to access basic healthcare in a time of need.

I've been contacted by the surgery to have a breast screening as it was due. It was due a year ago and I went. They have no record of this despite the hospital sending them the communication. How can I be sure my records are accurate? It took 30 minutes on hold to check my records. The online system that is meant to help with this was closed. How can an online message service be closed??? In addition to this, they are only really contactable from 8-10 in the morning. How do I call for a routine blood test appointment when I'm at work? I'm a teacher, I can't use my phone at work. This is not acceptable and a far worse service than the small practice I signed up with 5 years ago. Two medical group takeovers since then and it gets worse and worse.

Never answer calls, they never call back when appointment are booked, appointments phone line are manipulated in a way that you get put back to last position after waiting in the queue for more then 47 minutes just to to tell you that the booking time is closed now, I took my son age of 4year old to be seen by a nurse after he was discharged from hospital and I was told that next appointment is in 23 days!!! I’m really shaking and angry just writing this review, I think I rather now end up in emergency department then pick up a phone and call Bretton medical centre

If you call at 8am (the only time to get an appointment) it's impossible to even get in the queue, let alone actually talk to someone. The online system used to work well (although I always felt sorry for older etc who don't use technology so well) but even that is now basically useless - every time you go on there none of the options are available. If they were set up to actively prevent patients from being able to contact them (with the bare minimum appearance of being contactable) I'm not sure how things would be different. Sadly when I talk with anyone else in the area I hear the same story again and again. Hopefully another practice nearby will be able to take us on.

Went for appointment on 2th March. The Surgery was locked, due to Staff Meeting and no Medical Staff. I was not informed of the cancellation. Now booked for the 18th April - hopefully. This is not the 1st occurrence and I doubt it will be the last. They need a good investigation into what is going on, as this has been ongoing for far too long. I am not the 1st to be mucked about and I doubt that I will be the last.
