Unable to get an appointment, app switched off at 9 am everyday. Unable to call , they never pick up phone. I am a shiftworker we are not catered for. Receptionist are short tempered and very abrasive and unhelpfull. Reception is cordoned off like a building site, they often keep you waiting at the window as they chat and ignore the ringing phone. Truly unprofessional.

I have always received professional and excellent service - get response from ask my gp couple hours tops - I love this service as stress free and you have time to detail what's wrong and time to think - the staff and doctors are always really pleasant and polite and listen to you and your concerns and i feel so happy that I am with this practice which is so much better than my last one - cant imagine how anyone could have any complaints

Myself and my support worker had a limited time to have an appointment, this surgery was able to fit me in straight away and sorted out my problem very quickly

Review titled Mental Health and Chronic pain

I recently contacted the practice as my mental health was really bad and I was felling suicidal. I was also in extreme discomfort due to to pain. I had to go through ask my gp and eventually a dr rang me and this wasn’t the dr who I asked for. He had absolutely no understanding of my mental health issues. All he wanted to do was prescribe medication which I am unable to take due to the side effects it causes. I told him this but he was very patronising in his manner saying that that was the drug which was recommended for one of my conditions. He didn’t seem to take onboard that I am unable to take this kind of medication due to the side effects they cause and my sensitivity to these drugs. I asked to try cbd oil and acupuncture and he said he could do a prescription for cbd oil as they can’t prescribe it and said acupuncture wasn’t available on the nhs in this area. I further asked for a full mental assessment again this was refused. I asked him to increase the strength of my pain patches or prescribe something else to help the extreme pain I was in and again he point blank refused to up my pain killing medication or prescribe anything else. I then asked for a referral to a rheumatologist to have one of my medical conditions reviewed and again this was point blank refused. He said that rheumatologist’s didn’t deal with this condition. I challenged him over this as I know the condition is dealt with by rheumatologist’s and he said only initially and then they have nothing further to do with it as it’s not curable and you just have to live with it. Also I’m supposed to have routine blood tests done every six months. It’s over a year since these were done and again they are refusing to do them as they say the hospital can do them. This practice is absolutely useless. You can’t get appointments to see the drs and the dr which I had to deal with spoke to me very patronisingly and had no comprehension of anything I was telling him. The practice should be shut down. I would not recommend anyone joining this practice. Go somewhere else if at all possible
