    I know the nhs is under severe pressure but even still the service here is shocking. The system seems crazy, only offer emerelgency appointments which means I have been directed to call at 8am and then 24th in the queue. There are no options for scheduled appointments. That seems crazy, clearly the staff are struggling to manage. I have empathy for them all as they will be trying there best. But what about working people, can the stay for an 1hr on the phone or an elderly person struggling to get an appointment? What about people having to make their condition sound worse so they can get an on day appointment (which seems to be the only option)? The management of the system really needs to be looked at, shocking!!! It's inefficient for everyone involved. People deserve better care!

    Having had Covid and tested positive for 13 days I still had symptoms and so sent an e consult at 5pm and got a response at 8:30 the following day followed by a telephone consultation by phone at 9:30. The Advanced Nurse practioner wanted to see me and arranged an appointment for 12:30. I got a thorough examination and I can only express my thanks as the NHS is under such pressure. I have always found the whole team excellent having been a patient for over30 years.
