Most helpful but sometimes fall short on providing correct information or documents and one person contradicting the other. Actual care from doctors and nurses is excellent. The biggest gripe is regarding confusing regarding which location to attend be it Bowling or Highfield, The practice name of Bowling Highfield is totally confusing when it come to appointments - you always have to clarify which venue to attend as messages just say Bowling Highfield - ok so which venue? Also, having to wait 45 mins to arrange an appointment, only to be then told none left, is totally unacceptable! Also, waiting a similar amount of time to ask reception a question is unacceptable! You should have two options, one for book appointments and one for discussing anything but appointments. Yes you may need 2 staff to do this rather than one, but waiting 45 minds to ask a question is unacceptable!

Thank you for your review, we appreciate it. Firstly, we would like to thank you for the kind words and appreciation of our Nurses and Doctors. Touching on your first point regarding being provided different information by different staff members, this is something we work on regularly. We have admin staff meetings twice a month bringing up subjects that need working on that have been raised to us (like points made in this review for example, that's why they are so useful to us). We also allow our admin team to bring up any subject that they feel they would like a refresher on to bring them up to speed. The amount of information the team have to retain as well as new information they have to learn on a regular basis is a lot and rightly so. In regards to the Bowling Highfield confusion, I have checked our reminder message today and it states which site you are going to specifically. Then, touching on the waiting time, numerous phone lines being open and how many staff members we have managing the phones. The waiting time to get through on the phones is something we are very well aware of, we have been monitoring and looking at potential solutions to help solve this issue. We have an average of 4 members of staff on our phone lines per shift but unfortunately, sickness challenges this. Over the past 2 weeks, we have received positive feedback over the waiting times when we have been fully staffed. Finally, we used to have the options to press when contacting the surgery. However, through feedback and also looking at the data. If we have the options enabled, there was delays getting through. If we had one member of staff on the prescription line, one on the admin line and 2 on the appointments line, it would take a while to get through to one specific line if there is a build up. However if all 4 lines are open with no options selected, we found that it speeds up the process. I know this is a long response back but once again, we really do appreciate your review and comments as it allows us to reflect on everything to ensure we can improve. Many Thanks, BHMP

Once i knew what i was doing it was not a bad experience found it easy needed a bit of help from reception team which they guided me with success will use again if need be.

These have been quite good to me. The e-consults are great, you always get a call back the next day. All the doctors have been good apart from one locum doctor. Yeah you might not be able to get through and get an appointment when you ring but all doctors are like this at the minute.

Very helpful and always looking at u very carefully and understanding you more carefully. Giving the very right medication. One thing I may know that there is many patients at the gp But I wish the telephone line are working. But it keep showing line busy. I wish It can be like voice thingy

Thank you for your kind review, I shall share this with the practice staff as great feedback the next time we are in a practice meeting. Regarding the telephone systems, we have this in place where it shows "line busy" so that it doesn't allow patients to sit in a que after there are already 5 patients waiting. This is because if we had no limit and it took 15 minutes to get through, it could charge you if you have specific phone contracts so we have limits to avoid this.
