    I ordered my repeat and was ignored for weeks before I spent an hour on hold to be told that I need a review. Medication never fully in stock. Refuse to dispense part prescriptions to sync all medication. Long waits. Very rude receptionists

    Sent my wife for a blood test appointment at Bodmin hospital but didn't tell the hospital what it was for so they couldn't do it. Wasted morning! Tried ringing the surgery, from hospital, 25 minutes waiting to get through only to be told by receptionist she couldn't tell us when it would be sorted. Get your act together Bosvenna.

This matter has been investigated by the Clinical Services Manager, the protocol for using this service has been discussed with the staff directly involved and apologies given to those who were inconvenienced by this unfortunate incident.

    This is the second time since both the surgeries merged that this practice has failed to order the injection needed for hormone therapy for cancer. I attended my appointment on time, sat and waited as usual, to be called to a room and told " sorry we forgot to order it in. Surely they know on the day of the appointment they have not ordered it. A phone call before the appointment would be better to say don't bother coming to the surgery as we have messed up again, Instead they let you sit there and wait before telling you. I work away and can only book certain days so now I have to wait another week. Very frustrating and time wasting at a difficult time.

    Discovered that if you phone and actually get through, it can take a long time, there's a menu option to dictate repeat prescription details to answer phone I am told. Could this service be advertised in the details on website, it's useful to know it's up and running while the mailbox at surgery is blocked over so we can't simply drop in prescription when passing.

    Thank you for your comments. I will ensure your thoughts on publishing the availability of the answerphone service for prescriptions is considered for inclusion on our website. With regards to the letter box, I can confirm that we do have a new lockable post box on order which will be suitable for the main door of Stillmoor, which will also allow patients to drop in their repeat requests to us at a time which is convenient to them.     Ever since this practice set up the website, klinik, the access to GP help is appalling. It takes forever to get through the 101 different questions, trying to make an appointment is almost impossible, you can never call to make an appointment, you are continually advised to use the website and have to listen to the longest most boring recoreded message ever ! When you do go on line, inevitably the site is down and you are requested to try again tomorrow. What kind of patient care is this !! But......when you do get to see a doctor or nurse, they are absolutely marvellous, its just trying to get there that is just so bad.

    I sent in a klinix referral about a possible pressure sore in the morning. By lunchtime I had a phone call making an appointment for the same afternoon. I saw a GP and nurse who could not have been more helpful. A swab was taken, I was contacted by the surgery with the results within a week and the GP rang me to check how I was getting on. I have since had follow up from the community nurse team which is so appreciated.

    This appointment was for an assessment of a facial mark. The response by the G.P. was speedy and thorough and led to an appointment at the hospital within days of the G.P. appointment. Thank you for your attention to this, it is wholeheartedly appreciated. We are fortunate to having a caring team around us.

    Nothing that was promised leading up to the joint venture of Carnewater and Stilmoor Surgeries had been honoured! Appointments are a joke. I was left 3 weeks late with an important injection! I'm now 2 weeks late for the same injection, and they won't acknowledge my communication. This is literally the worst doctors surgery I know, we was told we could still see our own doctors, important with my ongoing care, haven't seen her since the merger. Husband has been left high and dry, where he has had to call an ambulance! A friend is passing blood in his stools, and.they don't seem to care about its urgency

    I have just had the displeasure of awaiting a repeat prescription for medicine since the merger of the two practises. If someone could explain how the idea of the same staff doing twice the the prescriptions was going to work i would like to see the numbers, i waited almost an hour in a hot stuffy, (no doors or windows open) reception area with many others, statistacally one of us had Covid, so probably many of us do now. If this merger is going to work somebody needs to do some thinking on footfall and staffing!!
