    An awful practice. The reception staff have very poor communication skills. Before you explain your problem, they will interrupt you. Very inconsiderate and rude. It is very clear the main objective of reception staff is to avoid booking an appointment with the GP. The reception staff will make every excuse in the book to refuse your appointment request. I feel their actions are a result of what the GPS have instructed the reception staff to do. If you do not want to see patients, maybe they should think of a change in career. This is also reflected in their CQC report, rated as inadequate. The reception staff and GPs do not seem to be bothered with an inadequate report from the CQC. No changes have been made. GP surgeries like Bordesely Green should be held accountable for delivering such poor patient care.

    Thank you for taking the time to comment on your experience at, and observations of, the practice. I was very concerned to learn of the issues you have raised but am pleased you have given me the chance to respond. As a result of your comment I have spoken to all of the reception staff making them aware that I will not support such behaviour. General Practice has changed and we now work with our own Multi-Disciplinary team of qualified Health Care Professionals. These include: Advance Nurse Practitioners, Musculo-Skeletal Practitioners, Mental Health Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Social Prescribers, Health & Wellbeing Coaches and Counselling Services. For acute medical issues, we have Allied Services such as face-to-face GP appointments at our Pressure Relief Clinic or Extended Access Hub, Community Pharmacy Consultation Services and Minor Eye Conditions Services. We have an active signposting and triage system, which is supervised daily by a GP/Advance Nurse Practitioner during peak call times between 9-11am. All patients are then signposted to the most appropriate Health Care Professional for the presenting problem according to their medical needs. With regards to appointments, our most recent published General Practice Appointment Data (GPAD) for the period 20th February -19th March 2023 is as follows: 1150 Patients were seen face to face at the practice during these 4 weeks (Practice 67% ICB Average 69%) 562 Patients had a Telephone Consultation during these 4 weeks (Practice 33% ICB average 28%) 164 Patients did not attend a booked appointment during these 4 weeks (Practice 10% ICB average 7%) Following our CQC inspection, we have taken on board the issues raised and are working tirelessly towards correcting our failings and aim to provide good patient care. We hope our patients will continue to support our practice during these challenging times.     Me and family have been registered here for many years and we have always been treated with dignity and respect by all staff. The service we have received from this practice is exceptional. We are able to see the clinicians face to face when required and they always make sure that we get our medications by being timely in sending prescriptions over to pharmacy.

    Dear Bianca Thank you for your comments. Its always good to know that you are receiving a good service from all staff at the surgery. I am happy that we a delivering a good service and are understanding to your needs. It is our aim that although there is an increased demand we are still offering service at a high standard.
