I have had very bad experiences with receptionists at gp surgeries in the past who seem as though they can't or won't be bothered to try and help. They can even leave you feeling upset, angry and not listened to however today I needed an appointment for my young son and the receptionist tried everything she could to help me, she spoke with multiple doctors, empathised with me and was just wonderful finally getting me an appointment (that was really needed). I am so thankful to this young woman who is everything a health care setting first point of call should be. She follows the nhs 6c's to a t and the surgery are lucky to have her. I hope she knows who she is from reading this! Thank you! The rest of the team are fantastic also and often go out of their way to help. What a wonderful team of staff. Also doctor w is the best doctor there is and I wouldn't trust anyone else.
