Medication review today 04/02/25 : Amazing, thorough medication review. I have spoken to this person a few times before and she is compassionate, caring and succinct. Thank you, it’s lovely to feel like you’re being treated like a person and individual.

Medication review I received was extremely helpful , not just confirming my medication, but going through a whole host of ways to improve my lifestyle and I genuinely believed they were passionate about helping me in any way possible.

I am very happy with the service I get from the doctors and staff at Blandford Medical Centre, and find all very helpful and professional and courteous. My recent medical review with the Health Care Professional was very thorough and extremely informative and reassuring.

I was asked to review my monthly medication with the practice pharmacy by telephone I received the call at the agreed time and the discussions progressed in a very friendly and efficient manner Being male and averse to all things medical it was a pleasant surprise to have my expectations altered in such a way Thankyou

Lady I spoke to was very helpful, I understood all she said and felt better talking to her. I feel I could do with chatting to someone that sometimes things bring me down from my past, she has referred me and I had a call today from another friendly helpful lady so I’m going to give it a try.

Brought my son (11 months old) into the surgery with suspected chicken pox. I asked if someone could take 2 minutes of their time to look at the spots/rash to confirm what it is. Only to be told that the doctor “should call me sometime this afternoon”. What good is that for a rash? All they will do is ask me questions, tell me to come in and then ask me the same questions again. Such a stupid way to get things like this checked. Most of my experiences are, with the receptionists or any of the office staff, are terrible. The nurses and doctors I’ve seen here are mostly lovely, it’s a shame that the front of house team aren’t so lovely. It’s bad enough I get messed about here, but now my child! Not acceptable. A 2 minute job is being dragged out to god knows how long.

Dear Miss Hulme, Thank you for your review. Please note that it would be extremely irresponsible of us to allow a potentially contagious patient to remain in the waiting room to be assessed when we have extremely immunosuppressed patients in our surgery every day. We have stringent protocols in place to protect our patients and staff and were your child to have triggered an outbreak amongst the surgery patients or staff this could effectively leave the surgery in a dire situation.
