Been several times for my diabetes checks and also to see the Doctor. Very impressive by all staff nothing negative best GP surgery I have ever attended. Can't fault it, I wish every surgery could be like this one also the attached chemist is superb

I booked an appointment with ease, the reception team are incredibly helpful and provide you with all the information they need. When I arrived at the surgery, the staff provided a calm and welcoming environment. The practice nurse manager who completed my routine exam was very thoughtful and took the time to inform me of what to expect after the exam. She was patient and I felt very comfortable throughout.

I had waited 3 months for an appointment for a test that would take an hour. I had 11am in my diary but received a text saying the appointment was 11.40. I arrived at 11.35, was called in to the nurse to be told my appointment was 11am and there was not enough time to complete the test. I now have to wait another 2 weeks which impacts on an appointment with my consultant to start new medication for a different matter which was delayed until after this test. Please can the texting methods be addressed to be flexible enough to deal with all types of appointments offered by the surgery, not just the regular twenty/forty minutes slots

My appointment for a blood test was super-efficient. The attempt to make a follow-up telephone or face to face appointment was very frustrating. Nothing available for at least 2 weeks and not allowed to make an appointment for more than 2 weeks in advance, which means more frustration trying to phone each day.

I had a phone call appointment scheduled at the beginning of June which I unfortunately missed which was my fault. As per the voicemail I received I called back and was told the GP would call again which they did Approx 10 mins later. When I answered the call was completely silent and they terminated it about 10 seconds later. The voicemail I received that time said that I needed to rebook but they couldn’t call again today. When I called reception to rebook I was told I couldn’t get an appointment, face to face or even telephone, for another 3 weeks, despite the fact the voicemail left had said that my test results needed to be discussed with me which of course made me worry. So even though I had missed the initial phone call, who knows if the call would have even been successful. The appointment itself was absolutely fine and the doctor was lovely but I was seen 35 mins later that my scheduled appointment time so that whole time was spent getting progressively more anxious. When I spoke to reception about this wait after 30 mins (as advised by a sign in the waiting room) I was asked who I was being seen by - who knows who they’re seeing? As I didn’t know/couldn’t remember they then asked what it was for. Again, who on earth wants to broadcast what they’re at the doctor for to the entire waiting room, especially when it’s regarding a sensitive nature. I was told I was next but there was no “sorry about the wait” or empathy at all. This whole experience left a really sour taste in my mouth.

Recently moved house and needed to change gp surgery. Made an app about a small issue bothering me for some time but felt a little silly about it. Saw the loveliest gp who really took me seriously, without worrying me in the slightest. I only hope I get to have her again.
