There’s a queue of over 100 people to get an appointment at 8am which can take hours to get through if you don’t get cut off beforehand. Can’t book face to face. Make sure you’re half an hour early for an appointment because there’s only one receptionist and always a queue. I won’t be remaining.

Had to call for appointment , although there were no routine appointments , receptionist listened to my concerns and offered advice and alternatives . showed genuine interest in me as a person and followed up with a call

Spoke with GP on Thursday was completey dismissed, not understanding the issue at all, advise given did not make any sense. They also said quite hurtful things to me which was the worst, and saying things like "so what would you like me to do about it" "what do you mean" saying things back to me that i never said! Made me feel stupid and made me cry , no empathy nothing and I had to end the call. I made another appointment next day requested different gp i said exactly the same thing to them and i was immediately reffered for a scan and blood test. Overall this took 3 attempts to sort. Last year I spoke to another GP, who said theres no previous notes from old gp "so don't know what you're talking about" (I know my notes were sent over because of a previous visit) they said can't do blood test "you already had one 3 months ago" which makes no sense if i have a new issue this turned into an argument on their side tone was disgusting i got upset and ended the call. So my condition has now worsened thanks to all of this, but finally getting help now. Reception staff are always helpful never had an issue with that. However i am not with this surgery by choice.

I called to get an appointment for an ear infection, pratice nurse called to do a phone consultation and then asked be to go in for an examination. Want straight away and walked straight in to see the nurse, examined and prescribed antibiotics. The bast service from the doctors I have received in the last 10 years, if every appointment was like this the NHS would be back to being brilliant.

My visits to the surgery was for a swelling in my foot which is causing problems. The matter was addressed as were a number of other difficulties I am having. The approach taken gave me great confidence as has the follow up I have had. Excellent service all round

Visited the practice for a medicine review. Nurse recommended a change in one of my medication. This was the best thing thing she could do for me. The new medication works so much better for me.

Rang today waited 1 hour 15 mins only to be told I couldn’t book an appointment. Went on line at 8.00 pm chose an appointment and whilst I was typing what the appointment was for the appointment had gone. It’s totally impossible to get an appointment it’s frustrating hanging on the line and to be told nothing available then the online one - once the appointment is selected it should be locked until the reason for the appointment is finished and it is booked. The 8.00 am scramble for appointments is a joke and it seems the 8.00 pm one is too. The recorded message at the beginning of the answering service is too long - there is no need for all the info - it should be attached to the number of service you select. You just go round in circles and it adds to your stress. On the miracle of an occasion you get to see a Dr the service is good. Please sort out the appointment system - allow booking for a week in advance or a few days in advance.

We are currently experiencing increased demand on our telephone lines, which has resulted in longer wait times. Our patient services team have been working very hard to answer calls under the additional pressure. However, I recognise that difficulties in accessing the Practice can be extremely frustrating for our patients and I apologise unreservedly for any upset or inconvenience.
