    Avoid this practice at all cost ! I have had two failed attempts at getting my flu jab with this practice Last week l along with my husband we were given the impression that we were booked with the nurse to have our jabs . When we arrived we were kept waiting well over twenty minutes then find out a pharmacist was giving the jabs . He was extremely rude to my husband so l walked out . I booked another appointment with the nurse when l arrived at the surgery on the second occasion l told the receptionist my name and the time of my appointment . She obviously didn't understand me because half an hour later l was still waiting . We discovered that the receptionist never booked me in !! Needless to say we are registering at a different medical practice . Bishopsford road medical practice have completely gone downhill! If you have mobility issues you will have great difficulty parking anywhere near the place so all in all it's not worth the hassle !

    I was running out of my medications and the gp was quick to help out with sorting out my medications .

    I cannot stress how lovely the staff are at this surgery. I’ve always been greeted with a smile, made to feel welcome and comfortable and everyone has been willing to help in any way they can. Would highly recommend!

    I spoke to a doctor I have spoken to quite often, he had read my notes beforehand, so the call was swift and all managed well in a stressful time of year for me.

    We have (almost) consistently had a good experience with this practice. The reception staff are always friendly and helpful and the doctors have always tried to help where they can, regardless of the situation. A couple of times we’ve been prescribed something that’s been discontinued or we’ve been given questionable advice however we’re still very happy with the overall service we’ve received.

    Called GP at around 10am for emergency appt and doctor called me around 3pm after short conversation he called me to see him at 4.30 pm. General check up done and prescribed me some medications. I am very happy the way things were done.

    Was asked to come in for an asthma review for my child. I accepted and attended to find that you no longer do a peak flow test and would have to arrange one with the hospital at a later date, I was told in the mean time I can get a prescription for an inhaler whilst waiting to find out if my son is asthmatic, but I couldn't get the prescription at the time of the appointment as only a doctor can prescribe the medication that my son may or may not need and one wasn't available so I would need to wait a couple of days for it to be prescribed. This whole appointment was to review my sons asthma after a period of not needing pumps. In summary -This clinic was unable to determine if he has asthma as peak flow tests are carried out soley at hospitals post covid 19 -This clinic was happy to prescribe him asthmatic medication whilst waiting to find out if he has asthma. -This clinic was unable to prescribe him the asthma medication on the day due to staff not at a doctors level and would need to wait to the next week. -Staff advised to book a doctors face to face appointment to talk further regarding asthma. All of the above could have been done on the phone rather than a wasteful face to face appointment that resolved absolutely nothing

    Had a phone call from Gp . And was seen by a Dr the same day. Sent to hospital for x-ray and test to be sent for. Very pleased with practice so far. Never had a problem in 30 odd years.

    Callrd the surgery and explained I thought I had a UTI. The Doctor called me the same morning and gave me antibiotics. I found the reception staff very helpful and polite.

    I am happy with the on call and reception services. Even the blood test appointment and handling was good. I am not sure of the doctor who spoke to me as he was completely non-interested in knowing the patient details and history. This is not how one advices a patient as a physician.
