  1. Review titled Lovely staff but awful systems for seeing a GP

Rated 1 star out of 5

Since COVID all drop in clinics have gone and it is now incredibly difficult to get an appointment. The only apparent way of actually getting to see someone is by persuading the lovely receptionist to pass on details of your sickness to the triage staff who will then decide whether they will see you or not. The online system is complicated and difficult to negotiate and the phone lines are as ever, incredibly stressful with high uncertainty of actually getting through. If you hit the jackpot and actually manage to get in front of a GP, they can only see you about one thing per appointment so all those trivial things like persistent skin conditions or coughs etc go unreported. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful when you do get to see them, but I would like to appeal to the management to consider reinstating the drop in clinics and loosen up the restriction on appointments for patients.

Can’t make an appointment by phone or online. Need to fill in an eConsult form and then they will decide if you are worth their time seeing.

  3. Review titled Copper Coil

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lucy Townsend - Posted on 06 October 2022

Before attending I’d seen things online that made me nervous. When I attended my appointment the staff were so friendly, informative and I felt super calm and at ease. We laughed through the process and no word of a lie I had absolutely no pain to the point I even had to ask if it was done yet. I’m still stunned because I felt nothing. I’d never had a coil before and even as I’m writing this now 2 hours after I barely have any cramping. Massive Thank-you to amazing staff for a surprisingly pleasant experience. I’ll see you in 10 years!
