I contacted bewicke today to attempt to get gp appointment was on hold for 1 hour 20 minutes and told nothing available at bewicke and given 3 unsuitable options I asked for gp call back which wasn't an option either

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're sorry to hear that your recent experience with our service did not meet your expectations. We understand how frustrating long phone wait times can be, however we are unable to control patient demands for appointments although we have improved our telephone system which offers call backs to save patients waiting. With regard to your appointment request, our records show that you were offered an appointment two days later, which you declined. You then contacted us again two days later and were offered an appointment at Battlehill Hub on the same day, which was also declined. Based on the information you provided at the time, the concern did not appear to require urgent attention, and as we are not an urgent care provider, we prioritise appointments accordingly. While we aim to accommodate all patients as quickly as possible, appointment availability may vary, and we appreciate your understanding. If you would like to discuss this further or have any unresolved concerns, please contact the surgery directly. The receptionist I spoke to today was very polite and efficient the best I have seen for a long time and also the doctors .

I honestly don't know how i would of managed the last couple of months without this surgery. They have saved my life recognising something serious was wrong on a home visit which turned out I had meningitis and needed 6 emergency brain surgeries. Anytime I ring for issues the staff are so helpful. Thank you so much for everything ❤️

Always had very good service with this GP practice. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quick appointments offered and tidy and clean clinic.

On Wednesday 23rd October, I popped in to the practice to book an appointment to see my GP. Nicole was on reception and from the moment I spoke to her to ask for the appointment, she was nothing but friendly and super helpful. I left feeling looked after and immensely happy that Nicole had been at the desk that day. Bewicke Medical Group have an exceptional member of staff in Nicole.

I went to see the nurse for bloods to be taken didnt wait long nurse victoria was lovely and got bloods 1st time which is an unusual occurence

I was contacted by the secretary at bewick medical centre- who rang to arrange my follow up appointment and further blood tests without me having to book myself. She also received the letter from the hospital and able to let me know my tests were fine.

I visited the doctor for the results of my knee x-ray, the doctor explained nothing could be done and taking tablets would not help at all and in future my knee may have to be replaced, but reading on various websites that is not the case, as anti inflammatorys would help and it's knee cartilage not the knee cap itself . It has left me a bit confused
