    Surprised to hear five star reviews on here, but I always regularly see frustrated patients (including me) talking to receptionists as they don't seem to have the same level of knowledge when it comes to handling queries. Doctors advised you something, receptionists tells you another thing. Chasing up exam requests from them were a nightmare. Made you wait for more than half an hour only to tell you that you can't collect forms due to cyber attack. Was suffering for months and months before they finally released forms. Worst of all, some staff are rude and insensitive on the phone and in person. I can't stand watching their grumpy, miserable faces every time I walk in there. I don't know how they can work there with no kindness, empathy and understanding to the urgency of some patients who needed immediate medical attention. They work like sloths and take ages to deal with each customer. I have some new medical conditions but I can't even get urgent appointments and kept being told to fill in a form online. Then wait again a few more days before I get responses. I really think a complete rehaul and intensive Customer Service trainings are needed.

    Dear Patient. I am sadden by the fact that you have had such a negative experience, whilst accessing our service. I am sorry that you felt that the service was slow. The whole of Southwark was effected by the cyber attack, and we are only this week, getting back to a normal services for test results. Our receptionists/care navigators have only recently completed a care navigation training course and are trying their best to provide a good service to patients. I am happy to look into any specific issues that you may have, however, as you are anonymous, I can only invite you to contact a member of the management team, and we would be delighted to assist you in any way possible.     I came in today to see the nurse. The staff at the reception are friendly and had a smile on their face. This is how it should be as it makes you feel welcome. The nurse was very helpful she called me in quickly did not have to wait long.

    Today i came for a appointment I was not happy as I was seeing a male nurse. However after speaking to the reception supervisor she made me understand, listened to my problems. She was very patient with me and polite.

    I came today to ask about a query of my medication. The reception supervisor helped me out quickly and efficiently as I needed to rush back to work. She was very polite and jolly. Everytime i come to the practice i get the help i need. Thank you to everyone at the practice .

    Reception staffs and doctor in this practice are lovely. Reception staff explain everything to me how I should fill form online and this is easier for me to get appointment quick. I am happy every time I come to the surgery.

    I feel like whenever I have a had an issue and contracted the practice, the practitioners were able to resolve it.,My one complaint has always been getting an ppointment sorted, however, with the new accurx system in place I feel more comfortable and confident booking an appointment. There is 7 day process time period from when you submit your form, I feel if that could be lessened to 2 or 3working days it would be great.

    Terrible reception staff when I tried to book an appointment. They were rude, unhelpful, no interest in patient welfare. Refused to book appointments. Ignored patients when standing in queue. Tried to provide medical advice when not qualified. Could not access GP appointments or medication.

The face-to-face appointments do need to be triaged with a phone call first, and our receptions are trained as Primary Care Navigators.
