After years of undiagnosed neuroendocrine cancer my wife recently needed her bloods checking again. The results came back diagnosing her with type 2 diabetes, she was informed of this over the phone (Not a face to face appointment) and told that she should change her diet. There was no other information or advice given, ,despite my wife dealing with metastatic (Spreading) cancer and now being told she has diabetes, the gp hasn't advised on how she can monitor her blood sugars, what symptoms to be aware of, how to deal with any symptoms, what the change of diet should include, no care plan at all! This is totally unacceptable, unprofessional and not becoming of a nhs general practice. This will be raised further as a review on a website doesn't even get a response.

Called this morning for an ongoing medical issue that has worsened. Called first thing in the morning and there were no appointments apart from one in the afternoon but I couldn't book that one as I had to call back at 11 to get that call in case someone else called for it. Called 111 and have ended up at A&E instead. What kind of ridiculous system is it that you have to ring later in the day to book appointments that are already open just in case other people need them when I'm already on the phone. I'm not sat in A&E waiting hours and wasting my full work day because the receptionist wouldn't allow me to have the appointment that she said was free .. ridiculous system and absolutely zero empathy from the receptionist.

I came to speak to the practice nurse about contraception advice today and she was so welcomming and friendly. She took the time to answer all questions and was so helpful! I then went to another nurse to have a routine smear who was equally as lovely! Thankyou
