   This was my first ever appointment to see a doctor. The receptionists were very good and efficient and booked me in, at the time I hadn't seen the booking in machine. I was seen on time and felt listened to. I was refered for further investigation, for pain management and physiotherapy.

   Have to ring at a Set time for a chance to get an appointment. If people ring before you and you are down in the queue all appointments are taken and the only advice is to try again another day no matter how serious. No option for a future appointment/other service.

   Thank-you for your review. I'm sorry you feel this way. I've not received any complaint into the surgery so unfortunately this is the first I've read about it so I'm unable to investigate it further to understand the full circumstances. Whilst we only have a finite number of appointments, we will always see patients if they have a genuine medical emergency. We are also currently looking into a new appointment system that will hopefully address this matter. In the meantime, please do contact the surgery with your concern and we will gladly investigate it further.

   Receptionist taking call was helpful and polite, and bothered to ask if I minded a nurse practitioner but on realising I needed a doctor immediately understood. (I don’t mind NPs when appropriate). Doctor called back within an hour and my prescription was on the NHS app and at the chemist two minutes later. Sick note sent by email quickly. Knowing how much often unjustified criticism Primary Care has to endure and how much pressure they are under it’s nice to be able to report excellent service.
