    This surgery always amazes me at how quickly they respond to queries and see you. Not only for my two young children- they always take concerns seriously and see us on the same day but also for my own health. Shortly after submitting an online form in the morning, I will receive a phone call advising what the Dr/nurse advises or if they want to see us. They will always try and see us in the local practice if they can but if not will find a space in Frome and all the Drs and nurses I’ve met with are kind, caring and listen to concerns. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about them and feel lucky to have such a great practice. You hear a lot of people moaning that they can’t get an appointment for 3-4 weeks but it’s just not the case here. Thank you for all that you’re doing- it works amazingly from what we can see! Today, I submitted a form at 8am, at 8.30am I had a phone call to book me in to an appointment which was at 9.10. I got seen on time by the GP and they suggested a blood test and that it may take 2-3 weeks to get an appointment for this. I spoke to receptionist and due to a cancellation, I had a blood test at 9.40am! Amazing. Even with the 2-3 week wait I would’ve been happy as my concerns were taken seriously by the GP. Thank you

    Almost every part of my treatment I had to push for. They offer the bare minimum in terms of support. A referral didn't get made delaying an appointment. Had to chase up various issues and when you are very unwell this is the last thing you need to cope with. Rude and unhelpful attitude from doctor. I appreciate there is a lot of pressure on surgeries since Covid but it's really not fair to treat a sick person like they are an inconvenience and not see that they get the right pathway for treatment in due time, it's their literal job.

    Used the new ''appointments'' system, told them via the form that I was in so much pain it was affecting my sleep and mood but was fobbed off with a physio appointment some 2 1/2 weeks later. As a result my mood has really suffered and my problem is no better either. Seems to me as a patient of nearly 20 years standing that it's being made impossible to see any GP, let alone your GP of choice for any reason at all. If this is so what pray tell is the purpose of having GP's at all? I used to have monthly reviews of my various conditions which always offered the comfort of knowing you were being supported yet now post covid we the patients are very much being left to paddle our own canoes. I feel so sad about this yet I can't see it changing except for the worse any time soon.

    I transferred over from a Bath Practice just over 3 weeks ago and have had to use the practice already. From my first visit of registration to seeing the GP and Practice Nurse the staff have been nothing but Extremely Helpful and Friendly. I wish I'd transferred over sooner.. 10/10

    At one time the telephone system came up engaged so you knew they were on another call. So you rang off and tried again until you got an answer. Now, they put you in a queue with dreadful repetitive music for half an hour or more. The cost to the patient is multiplied as the queing facility doesn't give you any indication of where you are in the queue. It was far better for the patients to call even when engaged as you are not charged for an engaged number but you are charged if left in a huge queue! If this new system is going to stay could they please introduce a message that tells us where we are in the queue so we have a choice whether to continue holding or not?
