    I have tried to book a request for an apt. via the online Patchs system for a whole week , every day at 7a.m. & 11a.m. & 1p.m. After finally resorting twice today to the telephone Patchs service, after verbally giving all details asked for I have been told on both occasions 'We are unable to help, please call your medical center' which is the very same tel.number I rang in the first place! How is it acceptable when people work to take 15 occasions off work to attempt to ask for an apt? In finally bypassing all the tel. options and simply waiting on the phone I was told my I should really go to A&E. I was told my request for an apt would be triaged and despite serious, 6 hrs later, 7p.m. arrives and no contact received. I was told there has been problems with the Patchs system form receiving today, it would of been nice to be able to get to that stage. This is what I was told on the last occasion I attempted to get an apt! I understand that due to demand waiting times for apts. to see a doctor are lengthy, what is not acceptable, is to wait a whole week to attempt to request one.

    Dear patient, Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. I am sorry you were unable to submit a PATCHs request online and were then unsuccessful with the telephone system. Our telephone lines are open 8am - 6.30pm with Care Navigators available to answer questions and submit forms on your behalf if they available. Over the coming months we are making improvements to our online system with the hope to make this more accessible and easier to use for patients. Currently when forms are submitted they will be triaged by a member of our clinical team and they will give an indication of how soon an appointment should be made. PATCHs did report to us yesterday they had issues with their servers and this was not resolved until approx. 3pm which made our systems run slow and a back log of forms to review. Please contact Reception if you have not been contacted today and they will be able to assist you with triage decision and make the required appointment.     Called in for a health review and had the time to discuss concerns with a healthcare professional. Given practical advice on actions to take to improve my current health and how to prevent against problems in the future. Great proactive service.

    I have today 28/02/2025 received a phone call from the surgery as a follow up to see how my new treatment is going.This phone call was from one of the nicest most caring practise nurses I have ever known,although all are really lovely.Not only did she discuss the current situation but also asked how other health situations were.I came off the phone call with a spring in my step.People are quick to moan,but I can only say with regards to mine and my husbands health,we feel the care and support we have always had in over 25 years with this practise has been exemplary.Thank you to all at Beccles medical centre and Caxton villa.

    I have been trying to get an appointment on Patch's since last Thursday for worsening back & hip condition, several times every day & still unable to get an appointment. This system is obviously not working as other patients & contacts have confirmed. It is so frustrating; what can one do?

    I have tried to fill in a Patches for for two weeks. I am signed on, waiting for the timeslot to open, and Yea, it asked me to confirm my details. However within 20 seconds, I am told that the slot has reached capacity, and I should try again in two hours. Repeat ad nauseum. I tried visiting the surgery, but was told that they could not record my details; instead I had to fill in a Patches form. How do I proceed?

    I have tried every time slot to complete a patches form today and they have run out of slots within 30 seconds of opening. Absolutely ridiculous.

    Dear patient, Thank you for providing your feedback. I am sorry to hear you have been unsuccessful in your attempts to complete a PATCHs form. This does mean that we have reached capacity for that session. If you have an urgent enquiry you call the practice on 01502 712662 for advice from a Care Navigator. We also have the PATCHs telephone assistant by pressing option 1 on the phone which enables you to complete a PATCHs form with an automated service using your voice.     Have been trying for well over a week to get it sorted so I can re-order prescriptions through PATCHs. Started off by being told that I had to attend reception in person so that I could be checked out as really me. A totally different situation to what PATCHs help says, there they reckon you can send the required information as an attachment to your admin request. But the author of the reply (who's name apparently is forbidden to be mentioned) says no and if I do the turning up at reception bit with the information I will get sorted within 24 hours. So off I trot to reception with the information needed to get sorted and then wait and wait and wait. Four working days later I have to send another request through PATCHs as I still haven't received anything. The following day (five working days later) I finally get four emails through that should be the ones I need to get the situation sorted. But then I discover that the PATCHs system needs an "organisation code" which I have just discovered tucked away in the email containing my passphrase. Not highlighted at all so easy to miss. PATCHs is absolute and utter rubbish and makes things unnecessarily difficult to complete.

    Further to a referral by a lovely female Dr s.i. who gave me time and space to discuss my health issues, I have had a couple of telephone consultations with a M.health.practitioner. called M (?!). She honestly went over and above, and was very kind to me. I have been feeling extremely overwhelmed and anxious about an extremely difficult family situation/caring/hospital visits, but she was very practical and empathic in her support. Thank you. I appreciate your kindness and professionalism.

    During the last couple of months, the staff at Beccles Medical Centre have been amazing with my parents and my daughter. Going above and beyond. Missing breaks to make time. So caring, knowledgeable, efficient and devoted to their jobs and their community. Thank you so much
