Was seen within 24 hours. Didn’t have to wait when I arrived. Problem solved quickly. Was lot quicker than expected.

The Doctor made a thorough review of my patient record and discussed my current condition and medication. As I was experiencing a return of Giant cell arthritis and Polymyalgia symptoms she prescribed an increased dose of steroids.The consultation was very helpful.

A really informative and supportive appointment today given by both the attending nurse and doctor, they both put my mind at ease and were very friendly and welcoming whilst carrying out their job

Needed a same day appointment. The process worked very smoothly, the care navigator I spoke to was really helpful and kind. I was given an appointment that afternoon with a great GP.

Following receipt of a letter inviting me for a smear test, I rang up on Friday morning to book an appointment. I was offered one on Monday morning at another GP practice in the group - excellent service! (I could have waited a little longer for one at my local surgery if that was easier but as I was able to drive it was convenient for me). The nurse manager I had my appointment with fully explained the procedure, was kind and friendly. She performed the procedure so well - it was probably the most comfortable smear I’ve ever had . Thank you to all involved in my care.

2 weeks ago I had a home cooking accident very hot deep fat fryer oil burns to my face and neck areas, I am pleased to inform anybody thinking of choosing Abbey Lane + Totley surgeries and all ther excellent staff from top to bottom, don’t hesitate, they went into action straight away due to the severity of it and I can confirm that I am well and truly on the mend only because of their fast professional thinking, from receptionists to top doctors, nurse in between, without all this fantastic care and attention,I’m sure I couldnt have got through it all and know I’m going to be blemish free, due to their fast action, I’m in my 79th year and had a few doctors surgeries, this must be the best in Sheffield bar none. Thank you so much all of you, I’ll be eternally grateful.

After I conctacted surgery with my ongoing issues, I was seen by doctor within 5 working days. Doctor was very helpfull, talked me through my options and together we agreed on the plan. Doctor was patient and pleasant. I am very happy with my recent experience.

Excellent was very concerned for my health and welfare. Explained my blood test problems that had to be treated. Gave me prescription for 4 months so I need not collect every month as pharmacy is long way. Very kind and most polite. Will review in 4 month’s to see if all ok. Really good doctor he said to call if I felt unwell as I am generally weak.

I await a reply from my email enquiry and visits to reception re telephone consultations. My phone blocks Unknown caller ID so until you can identify the call being from the surgery I am unable to respond.

Phoned practice early morning to make appointment for my wife and it was very busy so opted to be called back and received call 20min later. After discussion with receptionist was given a time to attend. We had a long wait due to the fact my wife cannot use stairs and Dr had to wait for downstairs room available ability for which she apologised. The examination was very thorough and time consuming every thing explained in detail and medication ordered The following morning we received call from Doctors with further information.
